"Come, little birds," Honey Lemon chanted. "Down from the eaves and the leaves, over fields, out of castles and ponds."
"Now, squeeze pal," Hiro mumbled. Milky White is still inside their house. Aunt Cass was folding their clothes when she heard chirping birds. She took a peek through the hole and saw a flock birds flying. Did someone summon them? she wondered.
Once the birds already arrived at Honey's house, she instructed them, "Quick, little birds, flick through the ashes. Pick and peck, but swiftly, sift through the ashes, into the pot."
They did what she told them. Now, Hiro and the cow are outside. He rode on the cow's back and spn his slingshot. Since there was a can on the closed door, he shot it with a stone. It was hit and he cheered, "Bull's eye!"
At the same time the door opened and Aunt Cass walked out. "What are you doing?" she scolded him. "Stop pretending!"
She set the shovel aside and told Hiro, "Now listen to me well, Hiro. Milky White must be taken to market."
When Hiro heard those words, he pleaded, "But, Aunt Cass, no! He's the best cow in the world!"
"Was," Cass defended as she reluctantly took Hiro off the cow's back. "She has been dry for weeks now, with no food or money, we've got no choice but to sell her."
"But Milky White's my best friend!" he said. (Hehe, supposedly the cow should be Baymax but since the cow's a she in the movie, I decided that it should stay the same.)
"Look at her!" she deadpanned. "There are bugs on her dugs. There are flies in her eyes. There's a lump on her rump big enough to be a hump."
"But-" Hiro started to protest.
"We've no time to sit and dither," she interrupted him. "While her wither's wither with her. And no one keeps a cow for a friend!" She came near him and said, "Sometimes I wonder what's going on in that head of yours." And again she slightly slapped him. I will never give his cow to anyone, thought Hiro.
"Into the woods, it's time to go," Gogo said to them as she gave the money to Jack. As soon as she did, he gave her a loaf of bread as she wanted. "I hate to leave, I have to go. Into the woods it's time and so I must begin my journey." But before she could leave, she stretched her arm to get a piece of pastry on the counter. Jack saw her hand, he guided her out the door. Elsa saw what happened and get the plate of pastry. "Into the woods and through the trees to where I am expected, ma'am. Into the woods to Uncle Fred's house." Gogo's face lit up as she was handed one piece of cookie. "Into the woods to Uncle Fred's house," she muffled.
"Are you certain of your way?" Elsa asked.
"The way is clear," answered Gogo while getting few more sweets. "The light is good. I have no fear nor no one should. The woods are just trees. The trees are just wood." When her hands are full, she asked them once more. "I sort of hate to ask it but do you have a basket?"
"Yes," replied Elsa. She went to the counter to look for it.
"I don't suppose you're planning to buying any of these things?" asked Jack.
"Oh, shush," Elsa scolded him. Then to Gogo she handed the basket and advised her. "Now, don't stray and delay, alright?"
"You might want to save some of those sweets to uncle," he added. Gogo headed out the door. She took one pastry again from the counter and left. "Oh, my..." scowled Jack
"Just leave it," Elsa reprimanded.
"She's a thief!" Jack argued.
"Into the woods and down the dell," Gogo said as skipped on her way. She waved to Jack and Elsa who are at the door. They also waved back and paid attention to the path she's taking. "The path is straight, I know it well. Into the woods and who can tell what's waiting on the journey. Into the woods to bring some bread to uncle who is sick in bed. Never can tell what lies ahead. For all that I know he's already dead. But into the woods, into the woods, into the woods to Uncle Fred's house and home before dark."
Back to Honey Lemon's house, the birds already finished picking up the lentils and putting then in the pot.
"Honey Lemon!" her stepsisters called. "Get up here!"
"Fly, birds," she instructed them to leave so that no one will know she had some help. "Back to the sky."
"We're waiting!" One of them said impatiently.
She hurriedly went upstairs. "Back to the eaves and the leaves and the fields and the-"
"Hurry up and do my hair, Honey Lemon! Are you really wearing that?" Drizella ordered her.
"Here, I found a little tear, Honey Lemon. Can't you hide it with a hat?" complained Anastasia.
"You look beautiful," she told one of them as she entered their room.
"I know," Drizella said boastfully.
"She means me," corrected Anastasia.
"No she didn't," Drizella shot back. They both sat down and Honey Lemon did Drizella's hair first.
"Mother said be good, Father said be nice," Honey Lemon reminded herself as Anastasia threw some clothes on her."That was always their advice. So be nice, Honey Lemon, good, Honey Lemon, nice good good nice-"
"Tighter!" commanded Drizella.
Honey Lemon did as told. "What's the good of being good if everyone is blind always leaving you behind? Never mind, Honey Lemon, kind Honey Lemon, nice good nice kind good nice-" Because of saying those words, she didn't even realized that it was already very tight in Drizella's part.
"Ow!" exclaimed Drizella. Both girls stood up and glared at her. "Not that tight! Clod!" With that, she slapped her in the face and she was knocked down on the floor. When the moment was done, the stepsisters just laughed maniacally. Honey Lemon just sat there, glancing at them embarrassingly.
Someone banged on the door when Jack and Elsa finished their work. "Who might that be?" Jack asked her wife curiously.
"We've sold our last loaf of bread!" replied Elsa. She was busy cleaning the shelf and counter because they sold everything. Jack peeked out the window to see who it was.
"It's the witch from next-door," he called to his wife.
