Nine didn't have much time to ponder about the group name or anything really as the bells rang in the school halls, motioning for students to be on the way to class. Nine sat down and saw the class fill in one by one. He thought about the school day but then noticed his new friends walk over to their seats.
These days Mill is with him every day along with Junji but he didn't mind any of it since the three were able to get closer to him. Before the teacher for their class came in, Mill, who Nine saw in the corner of his eye whispered to him.
"What song are we going to sing?" He aggressively whispered. Before Nine could think the boy with bright hair chirped, "Who knows if Yoojung can sing, we'll need to prepare," Mill murmured with alarm in his voice.Nine nodded. "We can talk to Junji about it then Yoojung." It was good to consider and perhaps Junji, the latest member and main dancer up until this point would want a say.
At least that's what he thought.Mill scooted back to his seat as everyone shuffled to their own seats. Nine glanced over at Junji, who was engrossed in his notes, methodically coloring in the circles on his late homework. He gave a thumbs-up as he saw Yoojung enter the room with the teacher. Yoojung smiled towards them and sat by them after introducing himself.
The teacher walked up to the front of the room near his desk. "Hi, Mr. Taemin!" The class cheered. He looked up with a delighted smile. During the class, the students kept glancing towards the back of the classroom, where Yoojung was. Honestly, they paid it no thought.
Suddenly after a while, Yoojung whispered to Mill, "Hey, Mill, are you free today, or are you three making a new song? I want to show everyone my dance practice," The two others looked over.
Mill thought a bit and looked at Nine for some sort of confirmation or validation and Nine titled his head as to show that it's alright to let him in. Like an older sibling having to let the younger hang out.
"Might as well," Kind of expression.
Mill turned in his chair to face Yoojung. He rolled his eyes in exasperation. "Okay, fine, you've been begging for a while so why not?" Mill grumbled. Yoojung's face lit up with a smile. After school the now four end up in Junji's house, going over choreography.
"So, did you like it?" Yoojung asked hopeful yet out of breath as he sat down on the couch to watch the boys judge his dancing. Junji and Nine exchanged glances, while Mill was debating earlier.Mill remained silent, causing Yoojung's smile to waver. "It's not that you're bad at dancing or anything, but... I guess since it's just you, it might feel awkward." The two others nodded.
"Maybe we need more people," Nine admitted. Reassurance?"It's a solo, nobody else is supposed to be in it," Junji whispered.
"What?" Mill asked quietly in disbelief.
"Dancing is hard and it's respectable that Yoojung put himself out there. It's not easy!" Junji groaned slightly.
"Junji, that's the most you've ever said! Also, how do you know you'll be able to try dancing it yourself?" Mill exclaimed in shock.
Junji rolled his eyes. "I'm a dancer," he explained.
"Really?! Show us!" Yoojung and Mill exclaimed in unison.
"No way!" Junji refused.
The two pleaded and begged until Junji finally relented. "Fine... but Yoojung, where's the studio you train at? I wanna dance there," Junji requested.
Yoojung's eyes widened, and he quickly told him the name and the video channel of the studio. Now he wouldn't have to dance alone or prefer doing solos.
