Chapter 31:Cranks

YN POV

After the two people left we all decided to just keep walking. It was now 16:00pm meaning we would have to find shelter for the night soon. Emmy was asleep in Newt's arms, she fell asleep just after the people left.

"Ugh, I feel like death." Thomas complained.

"You look like it too." Minho replied sassily. "Ugh, I'm gonna die of heat stroke."

"Will you too stop complaining." Anna scolded.

"Newtie, can you carry me too?" Minho asked.

"Minho, are you a four year old girl?" Newt asked.

"No." Minho replied with a sigh.

"Then no." Newt said which made Minho groan.

"Why? Doesn't anyone love me? Isn't there anyone who cares about Minho the runner?" Minho whined.

"Minho, you're not a runner anymore." I reminded him.

"Ugh." Minho groaned.

Minho stopped talking after that and we carried on walking in silence.

Half an hour went past when I heard a groan coming from Emmy.

"Look at that, the sleeping beauty is awake." I said making her giggle.

"Can I walk by myself now?" She asked.

"Course." Newt said and set her down on her feet. Emmy then grabbed both mine and Newt's hands and started walking with us.

Another hour later and we were still walking, it was now 17:30pm and it was starting to get dark.

"Guys, I see something!" Minho announced. We all started walking faster and in the direction of the metal thing. It was a building, most of it was covered by sand, we could only see a bit of the roof and glass windows. "Should we go in?" Minho asked. But before any of us could answer Anna jumped in through a hole that used to be a window.

"Anna!" I yelled.

"It's fine come down!" She yelled. I moved over to the window and jumped in, I landed on a sand hill and ran down to the bottom of it so I could reach Anna.

"You alright?" She asked.

"Yeah." I breathed out.

Everyone else was soon down with us and we started looking around. It was a bit dark in the room so Minho pulled out a flashlight.

"Minho, look here." Fry said. Minho pointed the light at the ground next to Frypan, there were footsteps on the sand.

"There were people here." Newt said.

"Or still are." Aris said.

"Thomas and I are going to take a look around the building, everyone else look for supplies." Minho commanded.

The two boys left and everyone else split up to look around for anything useful. The building turned out to be an abandoned mall. I was currently in a room that used to be clothes shop, looking for any change of clothes.

"Guys! I found clothes!" I yelled so that everyone could hear.

Everyone came into the old shop and looked for clothes that would fit them. We were all in short sleeved clothes so if we found anything long we wouldn't have to carry the bed sheets with us.

I found a blue and white long sleeved top, a grey zip up hoodie and some black cargo trousers. I kept looking around the room when I stumbled onto the child section.
