The only one for me - Evan "Buck" Buckley

TW: DRAMA, DRAMA AND DRAMA (ok not that much drama, but there's dramaaa)

Buck's POV:

Usually Buck wakes up before you and makes coffee before your shift with Athena. Today he woke up to an empty bed besides him. He heard a noice comming from the room next to his.
"Yes Eddie, see you tonight," you said.
What was tonight? What could his girlfriend do at his friends house? Is she cheating on him?
Buck decided to ignore it and just got ready.
At breakfast he didn't say a word to you but you just tought he was tired so you didn't say anything.
Around 7AM you both left for work.

Your POV:

This morning you woke up early. You had to call Eddie. But Eddie was first and he called you. You got up and answered your phone, thinking Buck was still asleep.
"Goodmorning Y/N," Eddie said. "Hmm," you were too tired to say words. "Sorry to wake you up but Christopher wanted to say something," Eddie said.
"Hey Y/N," Christopher said. "Thank you for yesterday. I made the finally," he said happy. "Omg congrats Chris," you answered.
"Do you want to help again for 1 more time," Eddie asked. "Yes Eddie, see you tonight," you said.
You entered your room and saw that Buck was already up.
At breakfast you noticed that Buck was really silent. You tought he was tired because yesterday was a full moon.
Around 7AM you left for your shift with Athena. You were a cop for the LAPD.

Your day was really quiet but you didn't dare to say the Q-word out loud. Buck told you a story about when somebody said the Q-word and you haven't said it since.
Everyday you went and had dinner together with Athena and the LAPD 118. Today was no different. Exept for the fact that Buck was really silent.

That night you went over at Eddie's but you didn't know that Buck was there every night.
Yoy rang the bell. "Hi, uhm- come in," Eddie said silently. "Go trough the kitchen and then to Chris' bedroom,"
"Okay," you answered.
After a few minutes Eddie came in the room. "Okay I need you to lay down on the bed and stay as silent as possible," Eddie commanded. "Okay," you said and you did what he told.
Eddie couldn't keep it together after a while. "Shhhh, someone needs to concentrate," you said and you pointed to Chris who was busy drawing you.
After to minutes Eddie got up. "If you leave, go trough the kitchen, there's a little gift for you," Eddie said and he went downstairs.

When Christopher was ready, you left trough the kitchen and saw a bag on the counter. You opend it and saw a drawing of you, Eddie and Christopher.

Buck's POV:

After his shift he went to Eddie's to talk. He didn't want to talk he just wanted to see if you were there.
He entered and sat in the living room. The door bell rang.
Eddie got up and answered the door.
"Sorry, angry neighbor. I'm going to check on Chris for a moment. I'll be back soon," Eddie said.
When Eddie left Buck decided to go up and listen at Christopher's door.
"Y/N, I need you to lay down on the bed," Eddie said.
Buck didn't know what to do.
He hear Eddie laugh and you answered "Shhh someone needs to concentrate,"
Buck was mad and sad at the same moment.
He got back in the living room. He drank his beer and Eddie got back.
"Are you okay," Eddie asked. "Yeah, sure," Buck replied.

After a while he left and got home.

Your POV:

The next morning you got up to a text from Eddie.

E: Today Chris and I are going to send the drawing. At 5 we have the results.

Y/N: Good luck!

You got up and you had your normal morning routine.
Before you left Buck said he needed to ask you something.
"Where were you last night," he asked.
"At a friend's house," you responded. You didn't like to lie to him but you didn't want to hurt a little boy either.
"You sure," Buck asked. "Yeah, why,"
"No reason,"
"Okay," you said. "Where were you yesterday? When I came home you weren't here,"
"I was at Eddie's," he said. You hoped he didn't know you were there yesterday.
"How was it," you asked. "It was okay, there was someone I think. Maybe it was a girl. He went upstairs with her," he said calmy. You knew he knew it was you.
"Wait, you're not thinking I'm cheating, right," you asked. "What else would you be doing there," he said. "I don't know, HELPING CHRISTOPHER WITH SCHOOL OR SOMETHING," you said. You were angry. You didn't like that he tought you'd cheat on him.
"Why would he need help with school," Buck asked. "You'd know if you'd talked to him," you snapped at him.
You turned around and called Athena asking if she'd pick you up. She said yes.
At 4:45PM you got a text from Eddie.

E: Hey, wanna come at the firehouse? We can check the results together w. Chris

Y/N: Yeah, sure

E: How is Buck? He was pretty angry today

Y/N: He tought I was cheating..

E: Why would he think that?

Y/N: He heard us yesterday

E: Why didn't he just ask?

Y/N: Idk, gtg

You arrived at the firehouse at 4:55PM. You went over to Eddie and Christopher and waited for the results.
Eddie's phone rang. He got the mail with the results.
CHRISTOPHER WON!
You 3 cheered and Bobby asked why.
"Tell them Chris," Eddie said to his son.
"I competed in a drawing contest and I drew Y/N and I won," Christopher said happy. You saw Buck's face change. You went over to him. "That's why I was there yesterday," you said.
"Y/N I'm so sorry, I just don't want to loose you and-" you cut him by putting your finger on his lips to shut him up.
"If you don't want to loose me, you've got to trust me," you said.
"I will," Buck replied and he kissed you. "Because you're the only one I want,"
"And you're the only one for me," you replied with a smile from ear to ear.
