Chapter 37: dick wife

"Mijo " as soon as those word left his mouth he realised his mistake, however he didn't meant to sound disrespectful, it was just something which came out naturally when he stared at those green eyes, the same green eyes as him, the same green eyes which we used to stare in adoration when he used woke in the morning next to his wife, the same green eyes which reminds him how happy he was back then

"Huh?" Whispered Lauren looking at the men strangely familiar

It's been so many years since they saw each other, so it's no surprise that Lauren kind of forgot the face of the men she hated so much, it's not only because of the year gap it also because there have some physical changes on Mike body too

He look a lot older, chubbier and most importantly he has beard

However Mike knows very well how she looks, he made people follow her for years without ever having to courage to go to her and apologise for his mistakes, but he never thought he will feel this way once they actually met, everything he is feeling is overwhelming.
Only god knows how he resisted the urge to go and hug her .

As the tension was building in the room, to avoid awkwardness Camila tried to introduce them to each other but Michael stopped her afraid that she might reveal his last name

The JC aka Jauregui Corp. is an well stabilised, one of the most richest and well known company in America.
He knew if camila called him with his last name it wouldn't be long for Lauren to realise the man standing in front of her is her father.
Which can lead to the explosion of her anger not to mention he will lose her all over again.

"Sorry I meant to say Michele, I mean my name is Michael " he said giving his hands to shake with a smile

It was strange for camila to see Mike like this, moreover not saying his last name, something he always does with lot of proudness in his eyes. To be honest the whole situation was strange for her, mike and Lauren had the same last name but she never thought something strange about it because mike is not a cheater and if something like that happened Shawn would have told her, however if Mike was in fact Lauren's father, she would have reacted but so far nothing, another strange thing was Shawn's last name which he explained in the past, that he doesn't go with his real last because of security reasons and now mendes is his stage name which he likes very much more than Jauregui.

"Lauren Morgado" introduced Lauren giving him her hands to shake

"So why you'd like to meet me?" Asked again

"Because you hurt his son" said Camila

"Which one?" Asked Lauren knowing there was few idiots who might be seeking revenge

"Shawn, I m his father " said Mike with  hesitation clear in his voice

"If you are here to press charges I understand and I don't have any problem accepting my actions but just to let you know he shouldn't have come between me and that guy or at least he could have stopped by protecting the girl who was constantly being abused by his friends " explained Lauren with no fear in her eyes

Hearing her say this Mike was proud, her daughter stood up for the right, she is just like he imagined, in simple just like her mother :

"I'm not gonna press charges " said Mike with a smile

"What?!" Both camila and Lauren said confused

"I mean you had a pretty good reason to what you did, and who am I to discourage people who fight for the right" saying this he left, to afraid they might ask more questions which will a lot harder for him to answer when camila Is near and could tell easily when he is lying

'You just look like me, my precious daughter' he whispered getting out of the building

"That was awkward "camila looked at lauren and nodded, it was really strange, as far as she knew mike not once he behave like the way he did today.

"this is very not like him, normally he is very ....... serious?" Lauren just shrugged it off

"Anyway I need to go now" said Lauren getting towards the door but soon she got stopped by Camila asking Explanation

" you know you can't just leave like this we have a lot of work in this office" Laura noted in understanding and tell her "I know I know that's why I already asked for a half day a few months ago"

"Oh you did?! Are you sure you are gonna go out with that shirt?!" Lauren just nodded making camila irritated

As much as she doesn't wanna admit but Lauren wearing anyone clothes other than her makes it unbearable

" Before you go can you Take the File from the cabinet and give it to me please" camila knew it was locked she was only waiting for Lauren to ask for help

"I can't open it" said Lauren trying to open forcefully, camila smirked and took the cup of coffee in her table and got closer to Lauren

"Let me help you"remarked camila getting behind Lauren

"No nee-" Lauren said opening the cabinet with all her force without realising someone was behind her already

"The duck " whipped the hot coffee from the surface of her clothes

"I'm really sorry" said while scanning the room for tissue feeling a little guilty, that she couldn't get a hold of her emotions.

"Here take this"gave the box to Lauren to clean herself

"Shit I really need to be somewhere in few minutes " said Lauren looking at the clock

"Hmm take off your clothes and wear mine?" Offered camila making Lauren look at her weirdly

"If I wear yours, what are you gonna wear? You can't stay naked on your office!! I mean I get it it's yours but.." camila rolled her eyes

"Shut up you idiot I have spare clothes in my office wardrobe right there " pointing at the direction

"Oh thank good, but wouldn't this weird if I go out with your clothes? " Lauren had a point, but is not like there was much choice left

Lauren shirt was all drenched and will be bad for camila's reputation if Lauren goes out like this, people might think she disrespect her employees is more nerving when there are few important media out waiting for camila to talk about a project.

"Just choose something similar or the sane colour, people are stupid they won't even notice and it's not like everyone looks at you anyway " Lauren just shook her head because it won't be a conversation with camila if she didn't insult her anyway

"Ok but where do I change?" Camila looked at her like she is stupid

"Where do you think you can change? It's a office not a shopping mall! Change here I'll look somewhere else" said Camila turning the opposite direction closing her eyes

Lauren knew it was useless to argue with camila and she didn't had time so she started undressing herself when Dinah and ally barge in

"What's up with the freak undressing herself in the middle of office hour?" Said Dinah in a harsh tone, still angry about what happened yesterday

Unfortunately they both opened the office door a little bit too much and some employees got a few glances of Lauren half naked with only bra in the office with camila alone.

"Dinah shut up " said Camila angrily after hearing the insult by Dinah

"What mila still protecting your contracted wife with a dick?" At this point camila looked at Lauren afraid

"Save it " said Lauren dressing herself with no reaction only disappointment in her eyes

"Le-"camila grabbed Lauren arm trying to speak to her but she removed it and said "I need to be somewhere "
