"Okay bookie, that ain't no Pandora ring," Chan said eavesdropping from around the corner. I cut my eyes.
" So you set me up, I'll knock all this shit over," I said playfully.
I stared at OB and if looks could kill, I was pissed after 3 1/2 weeks of no communication. And given the circumstances, you would think that he would have the sense to at least let me know he was ok, something, anything.
"Can we talk? " Ob asked with his hand stretched out waiting for me to grab it.
I hesitated, and I saw the nervousness and concern creep on his face. "Um, not right now, "I said as I brushed past him. Chan, I'll be back later. I have to go run and get some of baby girl's things from the house. "As I made my way down the stairs, he was right behind me.
As I attempted to open the front door, I felt his frame tower over mine as he held the door in place with his hand. "Baby, I know you're mad at me but I didn't respond or talk to you because I want to keep you safe, I need to keep you safe," Ob said. He was so close I could taste his YSL cologne. I spun around as he had my body pressed against the door, My god this man was so fine " OB YOU LEFT ME, AND I DIDNT KNOW IF YOU WERE ALIVE OR NOT, I WAS IN THE DARK, I DONT KONW WHATS GOIN ON RIGHT NOW & I CANT LOSE ANYONE ELSE THAT I LOVE ! ".

Yes, I said it. I am in love with this man whether he knew it or not and it scares me to death. It's been years since I felt butterflies. I had detached myself from Alex mentally wayyyyy before we officially broke up , so even entertaining OB was a bit much.
"I'm really pissed at you bro , like I really wanna read you for filth. On the cool just want some space right now cause I don't like talking while I'm upset. Respectfully" I said
The silence was thick and heavy, like a weighted blanket. Briana stared him dead in his hazel brown eyes, his breathing hitched and he clenched his jaw. "Briana, I love you so much I don't know how to express it sometimes, and I know I'm asking a lot of you when I say this, but I NEED you to trust me ." Ob pleaded.
"Give me a day, it's been almost a month without you talking to me. you can go one more day "
