"I thought we killed that thing," Dariush says while we walk out of the city. We are now on a dry path surrounded by a few trees.

"If it came down with the capsule that means it survived the heat of atmospheric re-entry," Alex pants, "which means it must have tremendous cellular regeneration abilities."

"English, Alex, please!" Zehn Zehn replies.

"It's like wolverine!"

"Oh," we all say.

My head still hurts, I can just make out their conversation of why the alien wants to kill us.

The next thing I know, Dariush is on top of Gabriel, hitting him. I run over to them and drag Dariush off him.

"What the fuck, dude!" I yell at him. He starts fighting against me and trying to get me to the ground. I manage to hold my stance and keep him still.

I grab him by the collar and yell, "Dariush, stop! Calm down!"

"He doesn't even know my family!"

"Dariush!" I shout again. He eventually calms down and I let go.

"You don't know me! My family has nothing!"

"Oh yeah, except for a car dealership, a mansion and a yacht!" Gabriel argues back.

"No the dealership is gone!" Then quieter this time, "it's all gone. That's why they sent me to camp, man."

"It's... it's just stuff," Gabriel spoke.

"Yeah but I don't know what I am without all that stuff!" His voice starts shaking, "and they're taking my dad... he's going to jail."

"I.. I'm sorry," Gabriel mumbles.

"I'm sorry for head-butting you, you should clean that up,"

I notice Gabriel has a slight nose bleed.

"Yeah... that's fine, I'm sorry... for punching you,"

The radio in Zehn Zehns bag starts making sounds.

"It's Dr. Fielding, he's trying to contact us. We gotta go."

"Maybe we should try and find some clothes? If one thing that thing can track it might be our scent," Alex says.

"Then let's go," Zehn Zehn picks up her bag and we all start walking again.

After about 10 minutes we find ourselves at an abandoned mall.

"This way, I know Gucci's downstairs, let's go!" Dariush demands.

We all head down the broken escalators. Gabriel and I admire the clothes on the manikins whilst the other three talk about Star Wars.

"Guys," Gabriel calls over, "it's time for a change."
