"What in the name of archons is going on?" Asked Beidou, arriving too.

"We have a huge problem, as you can see Beidou da ren." Replied Ningguang, crossing her arms.

"I don't think the Guizhong ballista can take it down alone." Noticed Beidou as she examined the huge cross bows.

"The Adepti are willing to lend their power." Replied Ganyu, looking at them back and forth.

"Great, in that case the Adepti and Qixing should work together." I suggested, "that is a start of a collaboration, and it should help end some of the quarrels."

"Good idea." Replied Keqing, "let us forget the quarrels." She nodded.

"I understand." Xiao replied as a demonic mask appeared on his face.

"Good." I replied.

"We'll deal with the monster." Growled Xiao.

Suddenly, I noticed portals around us open to have Fatui skirmishers walk in.

"I'll deal with the Fatui agents." I replied as I bolted towards the group with Dawnbreaker ready.

"And we'll lend you some of our power fighting the Fatui army while we attack from the ballista." Nodded Xiao.

"Thank you guys." I replied.

"Thank you, traveler." They nodded.

I battled the Fatui skirmishers.

I felt sudden pain throughout my entire body as I fought the Fatui skirmishers.

"Don't worry, hold on a little more, the power is a lot to take in from the Adepti." Replied Ganyu.

"Young traveler, you are doing great." Replied the Madame Ping behind me as I fought the Fatui agents.

"Watch out for the monster!" Warned Beidou as she helped block the Overlord vortex archon's attack

Another power coursed through my bloodstream. This one was extremly painful, but also oddly warm. It was as if binded well with my soul.

Could this be Xiao's power?!

I ignored the thought quickly and decided to think about it later.

Right now, I must fight.

The Fatui skirmishers kept arriving from portals.

Keqing and I were able to defeat and hold some of them off.

There were all sorts of Fatui agents. Some had Ice packs, pyro rifles, electro hammers and staffs. The hydro packs were the worst because they could heal the other Fatui agents. Keqing  fought them as I went to fight the ones with hammers.

"This monster is not going down!" Complained Beidou.

"This is  ancient sea monster is an archon after all." Sighed Ganyu.

"Does anyone have any ideas of what we can do? Now's a good time to voice them out!" Called Keqing.

"I do." Began Ningguang as she stepped in front of all of us.

"What's your plan?" Asked Beidou as she electrified one of the monster's head.

"I must sacrifice the jade palace." Sighed Ningguang sadly.

"But you spent so much to build it!" Protested Beidou as she gripped her claymore.

"I have no choice." Sighed Ningguang.

"In that case, we'll all help." I replied.

I took a deep breathe, focused on my anemo and geo abilites, and drove Dawnbreaker deep into the center of the jade palace.

An earthquake began as the jade palace began to shake violently. The power from Dawnbreaker continued to channel into the huge structure.

The entire floating jade palace then began to slowly descending.

Structures shattered and rivulets of the building began to fall.

I suddenly lost my balance and was free falling.

Paimon was trying to rescue me but she was too small to save me.

A jade green light dashed in front of my eyes.

I landed on someone soft.

I looked up to find Xiao, who managed to catch me from the nasty fall.

"Thank you." I whispered as I hugged him.

Xiao didn't reply and landed neatly on the ground.

"Be careful." Xiao replies, gently grasping my hand with his gloves.

Xiao then let me go gently and walked towards the other Adepti.

I couldn't help but try to hide my flushed cheeks.

"We did it." Sighed Paimin, "we defeated the ancient archon." She smiled tiredly.

"Thank you traveler." Nodded Ningguang.

"You have helped us greatly." Nodded Xiao, glancing at me briefly.

"Is there any reward or anything you wish?" Asked Keqing.

"I do, just a small one, mind putting up posters of my twin brother?" I asked.

"Just lost posters of someone missing?!" Asked Keqing, trying not to laugh.

"His name is Aether and I'm still looking for him." I replied.

"Alright, that is a small request though, if you have anymore requests let me know, and don't forget about our shopping day." Smiled Keqing.

"Ge ge! Will you play with us and watch the lanterns with us during the Lantern festival?!" Asked a little girl, walking up to Xiao.

(Ge ge is a polite way to adress an older young boy)

"I'm afraid I cant. We Adepti have other business to attend to." Replied Xiao, getting ready to leave.

"Eager to leave Conqueror of demons?" Teased Moon Carver.

"Maybe next time." Sighed Xiao, looking at the kids, trying to smile at them.

"Thank you." I replied, and then walked up to Xiao and said, "see you around."

"See you around." Nodded Xiao as he left.
