Focalors and Furina's Last dance

"This was all part of your plan then?" Asked Neuvillete.

"Indeed, this power accumulated over 500 years. Could have sustained Fontainians for a millenia had it been used for that purpose. Almost all of it now been stored within the Oratrice." Explained Furina.

"Why would you-" Neuvillete asked.

"This power of magnitude could hope to destroy the Hydro Archon's Divine Theone, shaking the rules established by Celestia and breaking the institution that of the Seven." Explained Furina.

"So the Oratrice's call for death was for neither Furina nor Focalors, but for the Hydro Archon..." Whispered Neuvillete, his true identity being the Hydro dragon sovereign.
He then realizes, "The destruction of that divine throne, if I do not misunderstand your intent, you must be..."

"Returning what's rightfully yours to you of course!" Smiled Focalors, "in other words this was all done to return the authority of the Hydro Archon to the Hydro Dragon of this planet." She adds.

"But what about your people...and what about me..." whispered Neuvillete, beginning to look sad and defeated.

"What? Getting sad again are we? The authority of the ancient dragon shall soon be yours once more. Oh Hydro Dragon Socereign and this is the face you make?! Hehe." Laughed Focalors.

"All you've done throughout these years, is just so you can sacrifice yourself at the very end?" Asked Neuvillete, realizing Focalors's fate.

Outside, rain began to heavily pour.

"I've never quite seen it that way. Even now I am quite pleased that my deception worked." Replied Focalors.

She then noticed the pitter pattering rain outside, realizing her companion had begun to cry.

Neuvillete couldn't hold it anymore and began to cry silently.

"Oh Hydro Dragon, Hydro Dragon, please don't cry." She whispered with a sad smile.

Neuvillete looked away as he wiped his dragon tears.

"I must say, had it been within my rights, I would have loved to judge the Heavenly Principles themselves. Were they not guilty of essentially the same crime?" She replies.

"So if the theft of Primordial sea waters was Fontaine's "Original sin" because I created my people from Oceanids. Then leaving out what is considered right or wrong, the descent of Fontanians as humans and their right to exist in this world, would be Fontaine's Original Justice. In other words, "Existence" was Egeria's Justice and to me, Justice is the "continuation" of that existence. Defying the prophecy and enduring that Fontaine's people shall live on, shall be the justice enthroned over others." Quoted Focalors.

"So when I was invited to the Court of Fontaine to serve as as Iudex...at least I now understand the true purpose of this position..." whispered Neuvillete.

"Yes, this position allowed you to understand and grow close with the people of Fontaine." Replied Focalors.

"I was uninterested in human existence but these five centuries of living alongside them have gradually brought about mutual understanding between us and I have even attempted to feel as they feel..." Neuvillete trailed off.

"Well now you do." Smiled Focalors.

Neuvillete then glanced at Focalors one last time, "You are a devious and clever one, Focalors. Things being as they are... Surely you know that I could never again declare them to be "guilty"."

The hydro sword from the Oratrice continued to glow and was edging closer to the Hydro Archon.

Taking center-stage, Focalors, The Hydro archon bids Neuvillete, the Hydro Dragon farewell as she began dancing and humming lightly, she hops and spins.

If I could only return to the Water's embrace.
Wouldn't the world be a lovier place.
Dear Mother, would you be able to forgive.

As the dancing water flows, so too we would live.

The city it would nourish,
And you too, my dear would flourish
But love alone could be to not avail

Only farewell, I fear would prevail
Thus our lives filled with joy and sorrow

I'll be here always, forever and tomorrow.
To behold the World's undying beauty
And that shall live in perpetuity

In a seperate space, you, Xiao, Kokomi, Mona and Scara watch from beneath the stage as Furina dances that very same dance.
At the end she gives a perfect bow as the curtain falls.

The energy ceases to spin and comes slicing down.

A blast of Hydro energy bursts forth, gathering within Neuvillete's body.

Furina sits quietly from her throne, staring into space, almost lifeless.

Meanwhile outside

Neuvillete floats alone in the skies, surveying the area around him.

As the Iudex and Hydro Dragon Sovereign, he
declares the sins of all Fontanians to be Forgiven

Wriothesley arrived in a huge Ark, rescuing Fontanians on the way, getting them to safety.
