Chapter 7

"Cheated? How sir?" Asked Helly following him through her eyes as he takes his throne.

"Ms. Shah I guess have given you too much access into my personal life. I think it's better if I shut my doors now" he said and opened his laptop. He switched it on and started working when he felt a pair of eyes stuck on him.

He looked up to see Helly fixed at her place staring at him, "Is something the matter Ms. Shah? Why are you so lost?" He asked lighltly tapping on her knuckles when Helly immediately looked away, "No.."

"No need to be embarrassed. Speak out" He said softly giving her an encouraging look.
The look on his face did help her speak out her words, "Do you feel bad when you are cheated?" She asked and Rrahul furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"What sort of question is this? I am a human Ms. Shah" he said when Helly corrected herself, "I mean to ask..." She looked here and there as if trying to find words. She looked up again at him when he nodded his head again, ".....Do you forgive the one's who cheat on you?" She asked and the skin on Rrahul's forehead flattened immediately, "Are you planning to cheat on me? Ms. Shah" asked Rrahul raising an eyebrow when Helly hurriedly shook her head in negative. 

"I do get mad, but, forgive eventually..." he said smiling, "...but solely depending on the extent of cheating" he added  and continued with his work.

"Have a good day sir" she said clearing her throat to which Rrahul nodded his head and Helly turned around to walk out towards her working table.

"Uh Miss Shah?!" Called back Rrahul when Helly immediately looked around at him, "Don't move to your working station, it needs some mending. You can work here" he said gesturing towards the homely corner of his cabin.

Helly looked at the place and then at him giving a nod. She took small steps towards it and made herself comfortable on the two-seater couch.

She took another glance at him, while taking out her file, when her eyes met his again, she immediately put her eyelids down.

She took a close look at the budget file trying to incorporated every bit of her concentration into it, but some ringing words in her head aren't helping at all.
Until and unless she don't talk to herself, she won't be able clarify things.

On the part of Rrahul, the corner of his eyes did catch her fidgeting. Not just fidgeting, her inner turmoil was completely visible on her face, "I think she needs sometime alone" he heard his inner self suggesting.
Rrahul stood up from his place clutching a file in-between his fingers and walked out of the cabin crossing the room.

"Does this man hand out the files himself? What a Boss?....." She muttered to herself in astonishment, "Or... Did just leave because..." Thinking out loud she felt calmed down heart, race up again.

She immediately shot up from her place and rushed towards the refresh room and pulled the curtain shut.

"What's going on with me? This is not the first time I am doing something like this. Why does it...hurt?!?!
God!! What's happening with me?!?!" She shrieked out frustration when she felt the corner of her eyes slightly wet.

She opened the tap and started splashing water on her face roughly, "It's just an attraction...." She said panting and slashed more water on her face, "....No, I can't be attracted. I have a freaking boyfriend...." she banged her hands on the sides of the wash basin in frustration, ".....I need to go to him back as soon as possible" she muttered to herself decidingly bend down her head close to the running water thus cooling down the frontal region of the skull.

In the mean time, Rrahul handling all the chores with his team, entered his cabin to find Helly's absence. He looked around when he noticed the curtain of the refresh room was closed.
Guessing her to be in there, Rrahul walked up to his throne when his eyes spotted the scribbling done on the fine.

He took steps towards the table and took the file in his hand to have a better view. The whole file was scribbled, cuts were made, words were circled, addition, substraction filled the pages.

"Sir?" Called Helly when Rrahul turned around and walked towards her to present the file to her, "What is this Ms. Shah? You destroyed the whole file" he asked perplexed at her actions.

"No sir" she replied looking down, "this is a simple xerox of the file"

"Meaning" Asked Rrahul.

"Meaning I take out a xerox copy of the concerned file so that I can analyze things better. It helps me keep myself grounded on my work and I don't need to look here and there" she said and Rrahul raised an eyebrow.

"Interesting... Very Interesting" he said and Helly's lips carved into a knowing smile.

"No on a serious note, I am quiet impressed Helly...." he said and Helly felt her heart giving a leap.
She looked down immediately and bit her bottom lip in shyness when again the same sheer electricity passed down his spine. Rubbing the back of his neck, "....I mean Ms. Shah" he corrected himself.

"It's fine" she said and Rrahul nodded slightly.

"By the way what happened to you?" He asked after taking a notice of her condition.
Her face all red and so is her Kohl lined eyes. Her hairs in front all wet and smitten together as unused ropes.

"Nothing. I am sorry, I'll continue my work" she said rapidly and walked towards her working place when Rrahul held her hand.

"I know you have a personal life, I won't intrude; but if you feel like talking I'm there" he said slightly turning towards Helly who kept her back faced towards him.

She nodded without looking at him and then released her hand out of his light grip ans started walking.

"Umm Ms. Shah one more thing" he said stopping in-between the tracks, "The team of Haters will arrive today noon. You have to prepare the budget file as well as be ready with your ideas" he completed. 

"Today noon?!" She asked with a start, "Why so sudden?"

"Actually day after tomorrow the director of marketing team is flying to Indonesia, so they planned to meet today..." he said and bowed towards her to have a better look at confused eyes, "....I hope there isn't a problem Ms. Shah?" He asked and Helly answered in a firm voice, "Absolutely not, Sir" to which Rrahul gave a appreciative nod.

"Who all are coming?" Asked Helly.

"Umm... Nia, director of marketing team Mahesh Sir, Saba Mumtaz ma'am our writer and our Director Sidharth Sengupta" he answered and Helly nodded firmly, "Will be done sir".

Helly's inner turmoil. Do you think she is falling in love??
