"Time to reveal myself. All the best Helly" Giving out a deep held breath, she slowly lowered down her menu card, when the very first thing her eyes met was Rrahul's eyes and the pit of her stomach churned again.
On the part of Rrahul, not just her khol-lined eyes, but even the simplest decoration on them, never failed to leap his heart into a perfect somersault.
"Oh..Hhhiiii" she exclaimed dramatically looking at everyone but Rrahul, putting the menu card with a slam.
"Hi Nia" she said happily and pulled her into a tight hug. Nia reciprocated it with same amount of amusement, "Hello Helly. What a coincidence?"
"Yeah..." she said cursing herself inwardly when her eyes again fell at Rrahul only to see him rubbing his face as if trying to cover his crime.
"So you're here with?" Asked Nia taking unsure glances at Roaan.
"Obviously me Nia. It's all over the news" Roaan interrupted when Helly was about to open her mouth in positive response.
"Ms. Helly Shah... Roaan.." Siddharth said thoughtfully, "....Oh!! Now I understand why I found your name so familiar Ms. Helly. You are Roaan's present girlfriend" completed Siddharth and Roaan nodded proudly.
"Present?" Asked Rrahul to Roaan raising an eyebrow, but instead of him, his girlfriend gave a stern reply,
"
I am".
"Oh congratulations!!" Exclaimed Mahesh Sir and the whole lot clapped together.
"Thank you so much sir" she responded smiling when the corner of her eyes tried to take the look on her Boss's face.
Well it can't be said he looked irritated, but it can be said his face got slightly scrunched like a used dish clot.
"Mahesh Sir don't you think Helly and Roaan should join us?" Asked Rrahul shoving his hands inside his pocket pulling her large brown orbs towards himself.
"No!" Spoke out Helly at once, ".....I mean..I would love to join..." She said in a much calmer tone down casting her eyes, "....But, I am on a date" said Helly looking up at him while her fingers smittening together, when she caught the slight apathy look on his face which he didn't fail to cover.
She tried hard not to fidget with them but the sharp adrenaline rush, shot electricity all through her spine.
"So what Helly.." exclaimed Roaan jumping in-between the conversation, ".... You have your office mates. Come let's enjoy together" completed Roaan and took her hand in his.
"Great!" Spoke out Rrahul, his face lit up again, "..When your boyfriend doesn't have a problem Ms. Shah, why not-"
"But I have a problem" she immediately interrupted Rrahul, whose face again lost expression, while her eyes didn't fail to give him a sharp stern look.
Of course the others did notice this heated she to eye conversation and even tried to process the things, but this sudden game of eyes between a Boss and his General Manager, skipped their heads.
