"How did you find me?" Asked Helly.
"It was a long search...." Replied Joshua stretching out her arms, "..... I visited from company to company and then one fine bright day...." Her eyes glowed with happiness, "....when the stars were on my favour, I got you..." She said looking at Helly with a babyish smile, "Marhaban Ms. Shahi. kayf halika?" (Hello Ms. Shah. How are you?)
"Bushra?" Helly took the name in utter shock.
"The girl who became one of my good friend. The girl who always supported me. The girl whom I thought to be sweetest of all.....was Joshua. Joshua was Bushra Naseer? Helly felt her mind going dizzy again.
"That's why you..." She gulped before continuing, "....were always covered in naqaab? You never showed your face" said Helly.
"Correct" Joshua gave a long nod and the patted Helly's shoulder, "Your brain is working now" she said smiling.
"....Bushra.....Joshua... Bushra...." She circled around Helly taking the names, ".....It was me. I changed my name and the moment I met you for the first time" saying she held Helly's arms, "....I knew you are the one.." she said bending down to her level.
"Being a multilingual, things became easy for me" she added happily.
"And then I asked Roaan...." Joshua continued, "..... to approach you and everything went according to my plan... You know the rest" she said nonchalantly.
But suddenly her happy expression turned extremely severe. She looked at Helly, so concentrating, it felt as if she trying to bore into her soul.
"But what isn't going according to my plan is....." She said after a pause, "...this camera on your button...." saying she ripped off the first button. Helly immediately clutched the ripped area of her shirt.
"....But no use.." Joshua said moving the camera on her finger tips. Helly eyes stuck on the camera and she couldn't think of anyway to get it back.
"How did Joshua spot the camera?"
Helly put out her hand to snatch back the camera but Joshua threw it, "....it's gone... End" thus dropping the camera into the glass of wine. Helly ran towards the glass, spilling off the wine, she wiped the camera dry but hopes didn't seem high.
"How dare you?...." Barked out Joshua which didn't fail to pull Helly's patience strings, "....You tried a sting operation!!"
Curling her hand into fist, Helly shouted out, "You will pay for your sins Joshua!! If not now, someday. You don't deserve to be called a women, a daughter, a mother. You destroyed your life in angst, you are destroying your child's life even. I just hope the pure soul in you doesn't suffer, but you will be doomed" her eyes holding determination more than anger, "....if not today... Tomorrow.." shouting her mind out, clutching the camera in her palm, Helly crossed the room to walk out and as she was about to exit the door a loud bang was heard while she felt a searing pain at the back of her crown.
Things in front started getting dizzy while eyelids started drooping due to sudden heaviness.
Losing her balance, Helly dropped on the floor to see Joshua glaring at her while her hand gripping a marble heart from which drops of blood trickled down.
"I hate you...." Joshua said clenching her teeth while breathing heavily, as her wounded enemy closed her eyes, "...... I hate you to core Helly Shah!!" she shouted out and almost slammed the marble heart against Helly's forehead but was suddenly pulled by her husband.
The pointed end of the heart made a long scratch on the left side of her forehead.
