Chapter 14

"Wow Mr. Sudhir!! You really have an amazing voice" said Roaan clapping his hands together.

"Thank you so much Mr. Regel" said Rrahul bowing his head lightly.

"Helly where are you lost?" Asked Siddharth snapping her out of her wonderland.

"Nothing sir" she replied screeching inwardly.

"What is it baby?" Asked Roaan again, holding her hand across the table when Helly replied getting irritated, "Roaan baby... Didn't you oil your ears today? I just replied" she completed getting pulling some eyes on her while Rrahul looked away pressing his lips.

Rubbing her face, Helly took a glance at her boyfriend who looked offended and why not, she just insulted him in front of everyone.

Her heart sank down in guilt and she tapped her foot on his thus grabbing attention. Once her eyes met his, she held her ear lightly and mouthed a sorry. Surprisingly, Roaan nodded giving a smile.

The deserts were placed when Helly finally decided to ask, "How come you all are suddenly here in this restaurant?" She asked piercing her nail into the skin of her under palm.

"I mean, I wasn't asked to make any arrangements" she immediately added when she got some unconvinced looks.

"I have a secretary too Ms. Shah" Rrahul answered pulling her head towards him.

"Actually it was Rrahul's idea...." Informed Nia, "...He suggested why not celebrate this after all we crossed square one" she completed and Helly felt Rrahul adjusting himself on his seat.

"So..? It's him who suggested appetizer restaurant?" Asked Helly again looking at Rrahul.

"Absolutely true. How did you guess Ms. Shah?" Asked Saba getting surprised.

"He suggested out for a dinner and you guys are here, so just a guess" Helly simply answered.

"Oh yeah right" agreed Saba taking another spoon of her desert.

"Accept it Saba, Ms. Shah is much more intelligent than you" said Mahesh Sir taking a grip on Saba with words.

"I am fine with it" said Saba nonchalantly and Mahesh Sir scrunched in annoyance.

"Seems like Mahesh Sir is missing his favorite show" commented Rrahul and the group broke into giggle apart from Helly who was too lost to react.

Rrahul did feel her stealing glances at him, while trying to indulge herself into the group. Her mind was continuously working, while face trying hard to cover her inner turmoil.

Choosing to avoid any questionaire session in front of the group, though he can predict an outburst, Rrahul brushed his fingers against her palm when Helly looked at him with a start.
Rrahul raised his eyebrows as if asking 'what happened' to which Helly shook her head.

"I am. Three girls and no fights!!" Exclaimed Mahesh Sir and Helly got pulled out of her trance.

"That's very melodramatic, Mahesh" said Saba waving her well manicured fingers at him.

"Sir we girls know when to act and when to react" said Nia proudly sharing a smile with the Helly who smiled back nodding.
