Chapter 8

-Lilith's pov-
it's been 3 days since the grounders caught Me and John, we were tortured non-stop trying to get something out of us,
John cracked, he told them everything. I don't blame him, it's horrible, they were horrible to him and I don't just mean the grounders, the 100 tried to kill him for something he didn't do. It feels like the pain is never going to end,
I don't know how long I can do this, I don't know how long I can watch them do this to John.

Lilith wakes up in a puddle of her own blood, she looks over to make sure John is still breathing, he was covered in his own blood knocked out from all the pain "John" Lilith whispers at the beaten up boy, John doesn't move. Lilith sits up slightly panicking and says in a shaky tone "John are you okay? John wake up please" John starts to move, Lilith sighs in relief. John opens his eyes "Lilith? what happened?" Lilith shuffles over to him "they beat you so hard you got knocked out" John sits up while
whining in pain "they are going to kill us" he says in a soft tone, Lilith looks down at the ground, John puts his head on Lilith's shoulder "you don't deserve this, you are here because of me" John says guiltily, Lilith looks at him "J-" all of sudden the doors burst open and in walks two grounders, the grounders aggressively grabs Lilith and John, pulling them away from each other as they scream for them to stop.
The grounders throw them to the ground holding them in place, "this is it we are going to die" Lilith thinks to herself, the grounders inject them with something and they pass out.
Lilith wakes up to John shaking her "Lilith, wake up" John says over and over again, Lilith slowly opens her eyes "ugh what happened" Lilith says looking at John leaning over her "are you okay?" John says holding Lilith's face, Lilith looks around and notices that they are back in the forest "wait, wha- how are we back here" Lilith says in a confused tone, John smirks "when I woke up we were untied and they left the doors open so I carried you out and escaped, I'm guessing they thought we were dead" Lilith sits up and smiles at John, John kisses Lilith on the forehead then they heard a shouting in the distance, they both jump, noticing the grounder far away. John helps Lilith up and they both start running, the grounder follows. John was struggling to run, Lilith puts John's arm around her helping him to run when they noticed that the grounders were closing in, Lilith looks around for somewhere to hide when she notices a cave, a different cave from the one they were staying in. Lilith helps John into the cave then sits him down on the floor and looks out the cave to see if the grounders are close, after Lilith made sure the coast was clear she sat down next to John "John how are you" Lilith says seriously worrying about him "brilliant" he says sarcastically, Lilith rolls her eyes and smiles "maybe we should go back to the camp" John says softly, Lilith looks at him in concern "they will kill you John" Lilith says, John fake smiles "it's the only hope we have" he says while looking down, Lilith looks outside the cave and sighs "we will go tomorrow it's getting dark" she says , the two go to sleep

The next day
Lilith wakes up and looks outside at the sunny sky and smiles, John wakes up and notices her and smirks "I haven't seen you smile like that in a while angel" Lilith looks at John and cuddles up to him "I'm happy to be alive for once" she says softly, the two were still in so much pain from being tortured. Lilith starts to cough badly "Lilith, are you okay!?" John says anxiously, Lilith starts throwing up blood, John panics and quickly holds her hair out of her face and smacks her back trying to help her, Lilith tries to catch her breath "something is wrong" Lilith says struggling, John looks at her with concern in his eyes "we got to get you to Clarke, she will know what to do" Johns says in a shaky tone, John gets up and picks up Lilith and carries her out of the cave. John carries her through the forest struggling a bit to walk, he sees the camp in the distance "CLARKE HELP!!" John screams, Clarke who was talking to Raven stops and looks outside the camp in shock with her eyes widened "is that Murphy??" she says, Murphy screams "CLARKE, IT'S LILITH!" his voice breaks a bit, Clarke and runs out of the camp with Raven and Bellamy, Jasper, Monty follows. Clarke sees John and Lilith "Murphy, what happened" she says, John with tears in his eyes says in a shaky tone"it's Lilith they did something to her, the grounders"
