Shane's POV
It was a normal day at elementary school. Everyone picked on me. I was an outsider in school. They would always call me names and say I was fat. This boy named Joey was the worst of all. Every single day he would come up to me with his friends Sawyer and Tyler and slap my books out of my hands to the ground. But today was different. He was extra angry at something, but I didn't know what. He came up to me and slapped my books down. When I bent down to get them, he kneed me in the gut. I fell to the ground. When he was about to me, I heard someone yell, "Stop hitting him Joey!" It was a girl with beautiful blonde hair running towards us. She helped me up from the floor. "Stay away from him Joey! Just because we had an argument, doesn't mean you have to hurt him." "Well he didn't have to get in my way!" She took me to a bathroom and helped me. "Are you ok?"she asked. "Yea I guess" I said weakly. "Oh I'm sorry where are my manors. My name is Lisa. Lisa Schwartz." She flashed me a smile.
"Hi Lisa, my name is Shane Lee Yaw."
"Nice to meet you. Sorry about Joey he's my boyfriend. We had a disagreement and he got mad but he'll cool off soon."
"Oh ok." I couldn't really to talk to girls because I was a very shy person.
"So, would you wanna be friends?"
"Yea I would like that."
"Great. So I guess I will see you tomorrow then?"
"Yea. Bye then!"
"Bye Shane!"
Lisa's POV
I made a new friend today. That's good. I'm glad I could help him because Joey didn't have to do that to him. He's kinda cute in a friend way. I'm glad we're friends. He seems nicer than Joey. I kinda wish Shane was my boyfriend instead. Well all I know this is the start of a beautiful friendship.
