Today is another boring day for me. Or more like a depressing one. You see, I hate school. I freaking hate it. I never loved it. But the good thing is, I have best friends there. We call ourselves the "Oculus Rift". It's a very odd name but we kind of sticked to it since it sounds cool. Anyways, we're having our History class right now and it's absolutely BORING. Oh my glob. You can see everyone doing something else while the teacher is lecturing and that's because they find the lesson uninteresting too. I was about to drift to sleep when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and it was Isabel.
"Hey, Mia. I heard someone is crushing on you from another section." she said with a smirk.
"Ha-ha. What a nice joke you got there. Very funny." I said sarcastically.
"No! I'm not joking. I really heard it." she replied. "Should I tell you the story?"
"Well, okay. Go ahead." I replied, finally believing her. The reason I don't believe in her is because she loves to fool around with me.
"Okay. So this is how it went. I was walking along the hallway when I saw your neighbor Jake being surrounded by his noisy friends. His friends were all shouting, "JAKE IS IN LOVE WITH MIA!! OUR JAKE IS A BIG BOY NOW!!" Then Jake scolded them saying, "GUYS!! Could you all shut the fuck up?! She might hear you! Ughh." Well after that, I just ran away before they catch me watching them."
"Jake? My childhood best friend? You're kidding me, right?" I finally said after hearing Isabel's story.
"What? No! He really is! I even saw him blushing while his friends were teasing him." Isabel said defensively.
"I don't care if he likes me or not. I'll still be loving Bryan Holland. Bryan Holland is love. Bryan Holland is life." I said happily, remembering how much I'm in love with Bryan.
You see, Bryan has been my classmate since 1st year high school. He's a campus heartthrob. But even if he's a campus heartthrob, he's still humble and very kind. One more thing is that he doesn't flirt with all of his admirers. Bryan and I have been best friends for almost 3 years. I started to have feelings for him when I started my 3rd year high school. So that's how everything went.
"UGHHH. No offense, Mia. You have to stop having feelings for that guy! You'll never have a chance on him. He likes someone else and you know that. And there's a bigger chance that the girl he likes, likes him too. Mia, are you just that fucking stupid?" Isabel said, a bit irritated of what I have just said earlier.
I just rolled my eyes at her and went back to listening to the teacher.
