[Mia's POV]
So he finally came back huh. After 2 years, my past came back. I'm a bit scared right now. I don't know if this will make me weaker or stronger than ever. Thinking of him makes me want to burst in tears. And right now, I feel like I'm about to cry because of him again.
"くそ. 私は彼が戻ってきたことはありませんしたい." Ree murmured. {A/N: Ree is Japanese btw}
(Fuck. I wish he never came back.)
"Huh? What were you saying?" -Mia
"Ugh. Nothing." -Ree
"She said--" -Ven
"KYAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" The three of us covered our ears. Ugh! What was that?
"BRYAN HOLLAND!!"
"BRYAN, I LOVE YOU!!"
"WILL YOU MARRY ME? *sobs*"
We all turned our heads. Oh. My. Gosh. IT'S BRYAN HOLLAND. THE CAMPUS HEARTTHROB. MY CRUSH. I put down my sandwich and head straight to the place where the commotion is. I had a hard time getting through the crowd but because I was willing to see Bryan, I was able to get in front. Once I saw him, my mood brightened up. My face lightened up and I was fangirling deep inside. He looks so handsome in his uniform. Oh em geeeee.
"I like you, Bryan. I really do." I said to myself.
"Really?" I heard a voice say. I looked up and saw Bryan standing right in front of me. How did that happen?! Oh no. I think he heard it.
"Huh? No!" I denied. There's no way I'm going to tell him that I like him!
He sighed. "Come on. I wanna talk to you." I can feel eyes on me, especially the girls beside me. I know that they wanted to be on my spot right now. Like duh, who doesn't want to be invited by Bryan Holland to have a talk with him?
"What? Why me?" Instead of answering my questions, he grabbed my right arm and dragged me out of the canteen. It was tough since we were being bombarded with questions and stuff. And of course, girls who go crazy over Bryan wanted to get close to him. He is like a celebrity, ya know. He kept on dragging me behind him non-stop until we reached the school garden. He let go of my arm and sat on a bench nearby. He took deep breaths before he began to speak.
"Mia."
"Hmm?" I turned my head. I was doing my best on avoiding eye contact with him because I really feel uncomfortable around him.
"Do you.." He trailed off.
"Do I what?"
"Do you like someone?" H-huh? Shouldn't I be the one asking that?
"Ah.. Eh.. Uh.. Yeah.." My palms are starting to sweat.
"Who?" Should I tell him the truth? Should I lie? Or maybe a white lie? WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?
"Why are you asking me this?" I said.
"It's because I.." He trailed off again. Geez. The suspense is driving me nuts.
"You what?"
"I wanted to be close to you, Mia." He looked at me with so much.. compassion. Eh?!
I was about to say something when we heard a loud crash coming from the other side of the garden.
[Jake's POV]
"Dude, I'm hungryyyyy. Let's eat!!" David whined. Right after he said that, I heard his stomach growl.
"Ahahahaha! I guess someone's really hungry already." I smirked. "Wait. Just lemme finish fixing my things."
"UGH. NO. EAT NOW. FIX LATER." And without hesitation, he pulled me out of my chair and dragged me all the way to the school canteen.
