Chapter 3: Realizations

"Oh hi, Jake. What seems to be the problem here?" Nurse Daisy asked. Nurse Daisy has been our school nurse for almost 8 years. Back when I was grade 6, I would always go to the clinic since I always get headaches. Since then, we became friends.

"Logan almost raped her and he even punched her for not listening to his commands." I said.

"Logan?! Oh my. He's a very troublesome guy. And he's also a pervert." She cringed at the word 'pervert'.

"I know right? He really got into my nerves for trying to rape an innocent, young lady." Hearing his name really irritates me.

"Ooooh. I can sense that something's fishy is going on in here, Jake." She smirked at me. Oh no. I think she knows.

"Uhm guys? You all know that I'm here, right?" Mia interrupted the conversation.

"Yeah. Of course! Hahaha." I looked at Mia and I felt butterflies. Shit! I thought only girls experience that?!

"Okay then. I'll be leaving you two, ayt? I still have some work to do. Toodles!" Nurse Daisy said to the both of us and left the room.

I turned around and saw that Mia has fallen asleep already. I sighed. I don't want my princess to be hurt like that. It hurts to know that she isn't mine yet. I want to be her prince and I want her to be my princess. There is nothing more that I could wish for. But for the meantime, I have to protect her. I have to be her superhero who would save her every time she gets into trouble.

I stood up from my chair and walked towards her bed. I sat at the side of the bed as quietly as I could. Truly, I'm not mistaken. I fell in love with her within 8 seconds. I want to love her for the rest of my life. I want her to be my girlfriend. I will never give up on her. Slowly, I reached for her cheeks and caressed it. Her cheeks are so soft and delicate. Fuck, she's like a Disney princess, particularly Princess Aurora. She looks exactly like Sleeping Beauty. All she needs is a prince charming. And that prince charming would be me.

"If only you knew how much I love you, Mia. You made me fall for you within 8 seconds. Shit. 8 seconds, Mia. You made me fall that fast. I want to be yours now so badly. I can't wait for the time wherein I could kiss you anytime I want and you would be able to hug me every time you're scared like I'm your teddy bear. I would do anything for you, Mia. I wish you would be able to feel the same way as I do soon. And I'm willing to wait for that 'soon' to come. I love you very much, Mia Perkins." I confessed. It's okay if she didn't hear it. I don't want her to hear it yet. Before I was able to leave her alone, I bent down and kissed her forehead. "I hope my kiss served as your pain reliever."

And with that, I shut the door.

[Ree's POV]

What the hell. Where in the world is Mia Perkins?! Oh ho. Don't tell me she's trying to skip her classes? NO FUCKING WAY. MIA WOULD NEVER DO THAT. MIA ISN'T A REBEL. DAMN IT. I'M OVERTHINKING ALREADY.

"LOGAN! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! WHERE IS MIA?" I heard Greg say. I turned around and saw Logan with bruises all over his face. Geez, he got into trouble again.

"Ree! What happened to Logan?" Oreo asked me.

"I don't know! But I can feel that something happened between Mia and Logan." And with that, I stood up from my desk and approached the group of boys.

I grabbed Logan by the collar and asked, "Logan, where the fuck is Mia Perkins?! Did you take her virginity? HUH?! Can't you see she's not fucking interested in you? Fuck! Tell me where she is or I'll kick your ass!"

I was readying my fist when someone pushed me away from Logan. I turned around and saw Ven beat up Logan with all her strength. Go, Ven! Woot woot!
