Y/n = Your name

The orange colours the sun shone out, matched the orange/pink sky. The water in front of you was peaceful, completely still and blank, showing the suns reflection, just a little more blurry. A small smile was playing on your lips as you sat there in the sand, leaning against a big boulder, on the beach. The silent had a calming effect on you - no bird whistling, only a gentle wind blowing through the tree's leaves.

You sighed and leaned your head back enjoying the silence and the colours the sun made, when its light shone on your closed eyelids. This was just what you needed after the long day. Training all day - you started up with sword practise and ended it with archery. You'd relaxed a bit, so your arms and legs weren't as sore anymore.

"Can I sit here?" A sudden voice said behind you. You turned around and your eyes locked with a pair of sea green ones. You smiled slightly and turned your attention towards the calm water again.

"No," you answered with a small smirk on your lips.

"Well, I'm gonna sit here anyway," Percy said and sat down beside you.

"Why even ask?" You asked looking at him, seeing he already had his attention turned towards you. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders and shrugged.

"To be polite I guess, thought I actually was wanted," he said. You scoffed quietly and sat back looking forward again. The sun had made its way to the horizon so only half of it was visible. The, now darker, sky still reflected in the water. The silent came back and was even more comfortable than before, now with your beloved boyfriend's company.

"Y/n?" Percy said, breaking through the peace.

"Hm?" You hummed, not looking away from the sun.

"Why are you so quiet?" He asked. He gently grabbed your chin a turned your head. Your eyes locked once again. "That's not how you normally are..." He murmured.

"I don't know... But am I often this normal? I mean, do I walk around, being quiet?" You asked.

"No, it's just now. I'm just not used to it I guess," he smiled slightly. You smiled back and pecked his nose.

"I just like to enjoy sunsets in peace," you said. As you looked forward once again, Percy leaned his forehead against your temple and wrapped his free arm around you waist, as much as he now can with the position the two of you are placed in. Your small smile grew bigger as you leaned into him and his touch, closing your eyes.

You two sat there for so long, the sun disappeared and was replaced by the moon and its star friends. You'd always thought the stars were some kind of friends for the moon, so it didn't get lonely at the night times. You closed your eyes and breathed deeply just enjoying the dark and the warm feeling you always had rushing through your body, when you were around Percy.

Just as you were about to drift of he decided to be annoying.

"And you didn't want me to sit with you."

"Shut up, Jackson!"
