"Who can get to the beach the fastest?" Percy suddenly asked. You sat in the shadows of the trees in the edge of the dark woods. You shrugged and looked up from your book. Today was one of the hot days in the Camp. Most people were relaxing in their cabins – since it was almost unbearable to be outside, Percy just thought it was an excellent idea to die slowly by the heat outside.

"I don't know," you said casually, looking at your dark haired boyfriend. "Wanna find out?" You teased. He chuckled as he stood up, reaching for your hand. You smile up at him and grab his hand, closing your book.

"But first can I go back with this in my cabin?" You asked. Percy put his pointer-finger on his chin and put on a thinking face. You shook your head at him.

"Nope!" He said cheerfully, pecking your cheek, before running off, leaving you standing there completely dumbfounded.

"Jackson!" You yelled and chased after him. You could hear his laugh, that warm laugh you fell in love with almost a year ago. You were in a good shape, but your stamina didn't help you reach him, so of course Percy reached the beach first. He ran out in the water until it reached his waist. You ran out to him in the water, after throwing your book in the sand on the beach, feeling it getting harder because of the pressure the water gave when running in it. You tackle him and caught him with surprise.

Falling underwater was kinda a part of the package when tackling someone in water, so you guys fell under the surface. You quickly started holding your breath, ignoring the burning in your eyes, after not closing them when hitting the surface.

Suddenly you didn't feel the water against your body and arms were wrapped around you. Your eyes fluttered open and the first thing you saw were familiar sea-green orbs staring into your E/c ones, with a familiar glimpse of happiness. You smiled slightly, before turning around enjoying the view of the underwater world.

"Maybe it's time to get up again?" You suggested after some time. Percy nodded slowly. The bubble disappeared and the two of you swam up and broke through the surface. Since you weren't a daughter of Poseidon your clothes were soaked – lucky for you it was a warm day, so a cold breeze wouldn't make you feel frozen.

When you looked towards the shore you saw a couple of campers looking at you and Percy. You began swimming to the beach with Percy right after you, your face bright red of embarrassment. When you got back to the beach with all the campers, it didn't take you long to snatch your book, from a boy who held it out for you, while smiling.

For some reason everyone smiled at you and Percy every time you guys showed a little affection towards each other. It was starting to slightly annoy you, come on people, you guys are dating, happy you're happy for us, but it's been going on for so long. They should be over it by now, right?

You smiled when someone grabbed your hand and pecked your cheek. You turned your head and smiled at the sea-green eyed boy, who was looking at you with a dreamy smile on his lips.
