M/p= Mortal Parent

You and Percy had known each other since you were about 5 years old. You grew up together since your M/p and Sally Jackson had known each other for a long time and they kept the contact. So of course they thought 'Why not introduce our children?' And they did.

When you and Percy grew up, it was easy to see you both had dyslexia and ADHD. But it wasn't the only thing that happened. You guys grew from each other. With you going on different schools, you got different friends. Your parents still kept contact, but didn't involve you and Percy in it as much as when you were kids.

You'd had a weird week. First you got attacked walking home from school, by a creature or more like monster, you'd read about in a book about Greek mythology. Then one of your friends from school came and pulled you towards home, running away from the monster. Your friend told your M/p everything and they rushed you out in your M/p's car, while you were as confused as you could ever be.

You stopped in something you would've called "In the middle of nowhere" but apparently this was your destination. Your M/p said 'Goodbye, I'll see you when school starts again'. There was only a week back at school before summer holiday, so you weren't going to see your parent in almost 2 months.

Your friend led you to a camp named 'Camp Half-Blood'. A centaur explained everything for you, about your dad/mom was a Greek god/goddess. It took some time to sink in, but everything fell in its place after a week. You got claimed and now you lived in the G/p cabin.

You found out Percy was at camp too. In some way it didn't surprise you, since Chiron told you about how demigods had ADHD and dyslexia, just like you and Percy. You'd walked around in this camp for about a month before you found out your childhood best friend was here and the only reason you found out was because everyone talked about him disappearing. You walked around for months and worried about him, until they all came back.

When people celebrated the big war with Gaea, you sat up in a tree and looked out over the water. It was almost night time, but people still celebrated. You sighed and leaned your head back again the ruff surface of the tree. You heard something under you and looked down. A person stood there, it looked like they looked up at you.

You climbed down the tree, hoping of the last branch. You tried to walk around the person, the tree's shadows hiding their face. They grabbed your wrist and when you freaked out, a voice sounded. A voice you knew so well and yet not at all.

"Calm down, it's just me!" It said. You pulled the person out, the moon's light could show you the face. It was Percy. He had a small smile on his face as he looked at your puzzled face. A small smile came to your lips as well. You hadn't seen him in years; it was a nice surprise he searched for you.

"Missed me?" He asked, like he just had been away for a week.

"Actually, yes," you mumbled and looked down. Percy blinked and now it was his time to look puzzled.

"Y/n...." He mumbled as well and pulled you into a hug. Things shouldn't be so easy, should they? You thought. Shouldn't we be awkward or.... Mad?

Since he was slightly taller than you, you wrapped your arms around his middle and rested your forehead on his chest. You'd missed more than you realised. You both pulled away, but Percy kept his arms around you. You frowned and he defiantly took you off-guard when you felt soft lips on yours. But wasn't he with Annabeth?

You couldn't help but melt into it, after all is was another nice surprise. When you pulled away you were breathless, but you tried not to show it. Percy chuckled at you and your smile grew bigger. When your breathing came back to its normal pace and you and Percy just stood looking at each other, you couldn't help but let the question slip out.

"I thought you dated Annabeth?" You said, like a question. He kept looking at you, but it looked like he was somewhere else.

"We broke up a little before the war," he whispered.

"I'm sorry..." You mumbled and looked towards the calm water at your left side.

"Hey," he grabbed your chin and made you look at him again. "I've got you back now and Annabeth and I are still friends," he said and kissed your forehead. He held you so close to him that night, as if he was afraid you might walk out of his life again, and you held him just as tight, afraid he might disappear again.

Here you go a longer one ! Don't get used to it d; I'm reading The Son of Neptune right now - I've spoiled a whole lot for myself, but I don't really know how it all ends, so I'm sorry if there's something incorrect!
(I'm sorry all Percabeth shippers - don't kill me...)
