3rd Person's POV

"It's been a month, Ryuumi? How are you?"

A maroon-haired boy makes his way to his favorite fast-food chain together with his light blue-haired partner. They decided to pass by there before going home.

They paid for their orders as they sat on their usual spot by the glass window. Silence enveloped their table as Kuroko decided to speak. "It's been a month, Kagami-kun, you still haven't visited her?"

Kagami immediately froze on his spot but recovered soon after. "I don't think I can, yet." Kuroko just stared at his friend as he got an envelope from his bag. "Here, Ryuuri-san wants to give this to you. Read it when you're ready. I just want to tell you, it's been a month, Kagami-kun. Let Ryuumi-san be free."

Kagami stared at the unopened envelope, thinking if he can read Ryuumi's letter after what happened. He still can't accept Ryuumi's fate. He cannot believe that the only girl he loves was gone already.

Kuroko glanced worriedly at his partner though other may not see it through his emetionless face, but his eyes says so. "Kagami-kun, I need to go." He said as his partner didn't say anything. Kuroko just sighed as he left his partner, thinking that maybe he needs some time alone.

Kagami decided to walk for a while as he came across a park-- the park where he and Ryuumi were supposed to meet a month ago. He sat on one of the benches as his hands were trembling to open the envelope.

Hi Kagami,

By the time you read this, I may be gone... or not? Hahaha. Just kidding. Anyway, by the time you read this letter, I already left to go somewhere far IDK where. Hahaha.

First of all, I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I didn't tell you about my sickness. I just don't want to get you worried. But I'm giving a hint though, didn't thought you were THAT slow. Hahahaha. Seriously speaking, I'm really sorry for annoying you, for teasing you, for making you blood go boiling every night before you sleep. I'm sorry for everything I did bad to you. Forgive this dying person, please? :)

"I didn't get mad at you, idiot." Kagami silently commented as he continues to read.

Second, thank you. Thank you for always talking to me every night even though I always annoy you. Thank you for being an understandable, humorous, and... I ran out of adjectives. Hahaha. Anyways, thank you for always being there for me when almost everyone left. And again, I'm sorry, coz this time I'll be the one leaving. Thank you for everything, to your simple hi's and good night's, which always make me smile everyday, which always encourage me to live. But sadly, my body cannot anymore.

"You're welcome, and it's fine. Atleast you can rest a-already." Kagami's voice almost broke at his final sentence. He paused for a while to stop his tears and proceeds to read again.

Third, I'm sorry for not telling you I love you. I just don't want you to hope and to get you hurt even more. I've decided to keep this all to myself, besides it looks like one-sided only. Hahaha. Omygosh, I'm crying. Hahaha.

"I love you too..." at this, Kagami silently cried as the letter was getting wet due to his tears. With slightly blurred vision, and an aching heart, he decided to finish the letter.
