Maizy's POV:
I wake up Monday morning and groan when I realize I have school. I hate school.
After I get out of the shower, I wrap a light blue towel around myself and walk to my closet. I pick out an Aeropostale NYC shirt and a red American Eagle hoodie. I go to my dresser, getting a pair of Nike sweats and go back into the bathroom to change. After I change, I throw my hair in a messy bun and put on my Nike Roshe Runs.
I walk downstairs and pour myself a bowl of cereal in the kitchen.
"Morning." Cameron says, walking into the kitchen behind me.
"Hey." I mutter, stuffing my face with fruity pebbles.
"You look lazy today."
"I am lazy. I was to tired to try for people I don't like."
"That's nice." He says, rolling his eyes.
I finish my cereal and then go upstairs to get my backpack. When I come back down, Cam and Nash are waiting for me by the door.
Cam is going to stay home with Shawn because he doesn't have to go to school anymore and Shawn does online classes. Nash and I say goodbye and then we get in my car.
"So you and Shawn huh?" He asks.
"Yeah, what about us?" I answer, not taking my eyes off the road.
"He asked you out yesterday."
"Mhm."
"What's going on with that?"
"He's my boyfriend. That's all."
"Okay." He says.
Once we get to school, Nash abandons me to go hang out with his friends.
I walk over to Bella and Lacey and we walk inside. There was 10 minutes until school started so we just chilled by my locker for a bit.
"So, I heard you got a new boyfriend, squirt." Danny says, patting the top of my head.
"Yup, I do." I smile.
Danny is one of my my best friends in the entire world, we've known each other since we were 3. He has dark brown hair, bright green eyes and the best smile you will ever see. He loves everyone, he treats everyone as if they are the most perfect person in the world and he gives the best hugs. We dated freshman year but we discovered after a month, we were better off as friends. Now, Bella and Lacey are my other best friends. Bella is super tall and the heels she wears every day make her even taller. She has tan skin, deep brown eyes and wavy black hair, she's absolutely gorgeous. Lacey has beach blonde hair, blue eyes and she's insanely short. She's also dating Danny. They all mean the world to me though.
We all start walking to our first classes of the day, Danny and I have English together for first period. I walk in and see all the popular boys sitting in their group, all the popular girls sitting a couple seats away from them, and the nerds sitting up front. There was something written on the front board about having free seating because we're getting new seating charts and I groaned internally. Danny and I sit in the middle and start talking. One of the popular guys whistles at me as he walks past.
"Damn Maizy, even in sweats you still look fine." I roll my eyes and ignore his comments.
Just then, the most popular girl in school walks in followed by her army of basic bitches.
She's wearing something super revealing, as always.
"Mandy, looking good." Her boyfriend, Jay, says.
"Thanks babe." She smiles and pulls him in for what turned out to be a make out session.
"Gross." I mumble.
The bell rings and our teacher walks in.
"Morning everybody. The seating chart will be posted on the board in just a minute."
The seating chart is posted and everyone gets up to find their new seat. I sit down in the back corner of the classroom and Danny sits in front of me. We both grin as we realize how much fun this class will be now. And then I realized who was sitting next to me.
It was Jay.
