Chapter 7

Just as the pizza's done, I hear the doorbell ring. I quickly grab a plate, put the pizza on it and go to open the door.
"I smell pizza!!" Michael shouts and runs in to the house.
"Hi. Uhm, we better run after him before he eats all the pizza." Calum says, while walking in and closing the door. I sprint to the kitchen, where I see Michael stuffing three slices of pizza in his mouth.
"Hey, that's mine!" I say, laughing. I grab three plates and put them on the table. Calum walks in and sits down. We both grab a slice of pizza and start eating.

We all talk, laugh and have a great time, until the doorbell rings.
"Be right back." I say as I get up to open the door.
"Hello." I say, as I open the door. I see Luke standing in front of my door.
"Uhm, hi." He says. "Listen, I just wanted to apologize for earlier. Sometimes I just can't control myself."
"It's okay, I have that too sometimes." I say.
"Is it okay if I come in?" He asks.
"Uhm, sure. But Michael and Calum are also here." I say.
"That's fine." He says walking in and closing the door. We walk to the kitchen.
"Hey dude." Michael says.
"Hi." Luke replies. He sits on a chair and grabs a slice of pizza. We eat in silence, until Luke starts to talk.
"Listen, I just wanted to say sorry for earlier. I just freak out easy. I'm so so so sorry." He says.
"It's okay. I shouldn't have reacted like that. It's actually an honor to be liked by you, Lucas Robert Hemmings." I say, looking down at my hands. I feel my cheeks go red and quickly look up at Luke for a split second, just to see him blushing as well.
