*BAM* the thunder rumbled overhead.
Lloyd shivered, he hated it when it stormed,
because the noise made it hard to sleep of course.
certainly not because it was loud, and definitely not because the wind shook the school slightly which made lots of noises that were super scary...
usually when it stormed two of his dorm mates would sit together and tell scary story's just loud enough to be heard from where he tried to sleep.
but thankfully they had decided to run away a few days ago, which wasn't too uncommon here at darkley's school for bad boy's
though he did hope that they where alright
so for the time being there was only two people in the dorm room -himself and the new kid, Gene.
*BAM, CRACK*
lloyd jumped a little but tried not to let it show that he was scared.
*sniff*
Lloyd's eyes widened, did he hear that right?
was Gene crying?
Lloyd sat up and squinted through the dark over at genes bed, it was hard to see, but the covers on genes bed were definitely shaking.
Lloyd bit his lip, not quite knowing what to do.
on one hand he was the son of lord garmadon, he was supposed to be evil, not nice, because that's what the skeletons told him,
lloyd felt himself shudder at the memory of what the skeletons did to him the last time he was nice to a new kid.
but on the other hand, lloyd looked back to the blankets, remembering his first thunder storm at darkley's...lloyd could clearly hear the sniffles now and...and what the skeletons didn't know couldn't hurt them right?
besides you can't take over the world if you don't have any allies
yeah that's right, he wasn't being nice, he was just trying to gain an ally and a friend would maybe be nice
