you woke up, the skin on your face tight from dried tears. your memories of the night prior was blurry to say the least. you remember the party, kissing jeff, coming home and having jeff visit you. you knew you had cried a lot last night but now you just felt numb.

Speaking of jeff he was nowhere to be found. you pushed the covers off of you, assuming Jeff had made sure you were okay before he left.

the hairs on the back of your neck stood up as you wondered what he had done while you were passed out, did he watch you sleep? did he steal anything? you panicked slightly at the thought.

You looked around frantically to check if anything was out of place, while doing this you noticed a piece of notebook paper placed neatly the plastic cup from last night. warm thoughts filled your mind as you basked in the warm memories you had shared with your friend.

you gently grabbed the paper that was weighted down by the clear cup.

you brought it to you so you could read it clearly.

"Hey princess, its Jeff. I wanted to leave you a note for when you wake up. You fell asleep on me but you seemed cold so i properly put you in your bed, i hope you dont mind. I will lock the door behind me, dont worry. Sleep well princess, - Jeff"

to your suprise, Jeff had really good handwriting. You folded the note and put it in the top drawer of your nightstand.

You stood up and went to check the door to see if it was really locked. you couldnt turn the handle so this confirmed Jeff's statements.

you then showered and got dressed. you walked out and opened the mini-fridge for something to snack on because you were hungry, unfortunately you didnt find anything and made a mental note to go grocery shopping.

you saw your phone plugged in, full charge. you didnt  plug it in last night, you assumed Jeff had done it for you. you grabbed it and threw on your converse. you had to apologise to Arianna.

you grabbed your keys from the countertop. you tucked them into the pockets of your jeans. you grabbed an oversized white hoodie that you had bought only a few nights prior from the mens department.

you threw it over your plain shirt that you had got. the bottom hem reaching halfway down your thighs and the sleeves reaching past your fingertips.

you left your dorm walking down the hallway, each door no different than the last. you pushed through a heavy fire-block door the led to the stairs. you took the winding stairs down two at a time till you finially reached ground level. you pushed the door open and were met with a the blinding light of the sunny day. the temperature was indifferent than it had been in the stairs room.

dispite it being pretty okay outside you were glad you brought the hoodie, it was quite soft.

you walked over to the main dining hall. Arianna was always there with Jenny and Ethan as well as Jeff around this time.

as you entered the sent of food filled your mind, reminding you of how hungry you were. you went over and grabbed a breakfast of your choice and a glass of orange juice before searching the crowd of people for your friends.

you soon spotted them sitting in a booth in the very back corner of the dining hall. you slowly walked over, not wanting to overstep the tense boundries

Jeff and Arianna were sitting across from eachother, Ethan and Jenny on the far side of them, tucked closer to the wall.

Not wanting to upset Arianna, you sat by Jeff who had finially taken notice of your arrivial. he moved over, ever so slightly to welcome you. you sat down your plastic cup and plate, not daring to make eye contact with Arianna. you stared down at your food an ate quickly but as silently as possible.

after a few moments of silence between everyone at the table, Arianna and yourself broke it.

"im sorry-" You and Arianna both spoke at once, looking each other dead in the eyes.

You both looked away, Arianna to Ethan and you to your plate.

"im not mad, i was just shocked, but its okay. just a party game" Arianna spoke in a genuine voice and you nodded, slowly raising your head to look her in the eyes again. "forgive and forget?" she asked hopefully and you nodded.

you straightened yourself out and finished eating quite quickly. you among the others made small talk, avoiding the subject of the party completely. you had  some laughs before Jeff stated he had to go call his older brother, he said he did it every week. you smiled at him as he bid you all a goodbye and went off to do his task at hand.

you made small talk with the remaining members of your group. Ethan and Jenny soon left stating they were gonna go greet some of their other friends whom you were unfamiliar with.

They left you alone with Arianna, even with the tension cleared you were still uncomfortable being alone with her. you felt her eyes on you and so you looked up to her. she was wearing a soft smile on her pink lips.

Neither of you said anything, content with the silence that was happening between the two of you.

after no longer than a few moments Arianna silently stood up, gave you a small wave and eft you to your thoughts. you did get lost in your thoughts.

flashes of memories from the party consumed your mind, making you shudder. you opened your eyes once more. dissapointed that the only thing your mind could focus on was the god damned party. you sighed.

you grabbed your plasticware and returned them to get washed. you stepped out of the dining hall and went to your car, when you entered inside of your car you checked our wallet, making sure you had it on you. your mother had given you a credit card that was linked to her bank account. she told you it was only for needs, such as food, clothes and hygenial products.

you put your keys into the ignition and went to run your daily errands
