FYI: Peter and you got teamed up for a chemistry project, and you've never been good in the sciences. He tries his best to explain it to you but you're too distracted having a crush on him.

"Uh-....y/n? I was wondering where you would like to do the project," Peter's voice called from behind.

I turned around and fought the butterflies flying in my stomach.

I met the pair of dark brown eyes and the shy timid boy.

"Your house would be fine, it's just that mine gets quite noisy, literally in every way. It's loud and you'll be bombarded with questions."

He fights away the grin that grows on his face. He nods his head before speaking up.

"Okay then, uh...what-what time?"

"5 unless you can't,"

"No, no it's perfect."

"Alright then, see you around Peter."

"You too, Y/n."

I couldn't keep the excitement in me for long, as soon as I reached the corner I jumped in excitement.

The first warning bell rang, feeling my heart drop to my ass.

I ran through the halls as fast as my legs could carry me, arriving just in time.

Mia watched from behind chuckling in her seat and lowering down her eyes to the paper.

"What?" I asked confused, bringing out my notebook and pen.

"You're dying of excitement aren't you?" She teased drawing a little cartoon Peter at the edge of her paper.

"Oh shut up."

"Ladies." The teacher scolded us before he continued grading last week's essays.

"What are we supposed to be doing?" I whispered without turning around, watching the teacher and making sure we don't get in trouble twice.

"We have to finish that worksheet
and it's due by the end of the class," Mia replied, pointing at the board.

Before I could stand up to take one, Mia stops me and hands me a worksheet.

"I got one for you."

Mia truly knew me the best, she and I had been best friends since kindergarten and somehow we've managed to stay friends.

She knows how bad my social anxiety is. That standing up to sharpen my pencil or even standing up to turn in a test just makes it worse.

She even knows about my huge crush on Peter Parker. I've liked him for a while but never had the guts to tell him, and I don't plan to.

After the last period, Mia and I walk home.

"Why don't you tell him?"
