We were now walking through giant rocks in the middle of the woods. I was careful with my steps, someone could easily sprain their ankle on a rock or the roots of a tree poking out of the ground if they're not careful enough.

Peter was walking in front of all of us, leading the way. Susan and Lucy following with Trumpkin behind them. Edmund and I were the ones walking behind him but soon enough caught up with the dwarf and walked next to him.

"I don't remember this way." Susan wondered out loud.

"That's the problem with girls. You can't carry a map in your hands." Peter joked.

"That's because our heads have something in them." Lucy fired back at the eldest brother in a jokingly way.

"I wish he'd just listen to the D.L.F. in the first place." Susan mumbled to her sister. I huffed, "D.L.F.?" I repeated while walking over a rock. I glanced behind me and saw Edmund walking over the same rock behind me. I grinned at Edmund when I caught him staring at me from behind.

"Dear little friend." Lucy smiled at me. I chuckled and jumped carefully off of the rock and watched Trumpkin's reaction in amusement. Edmund stopped as well, but still stood on the rock.

"Oh, that's not at all patronizing, is it?" The dwarf grumbled out. Edmund and I glanced at each other and shared the same grin.

We walked further through the gigantic stones, but soon enough came to a halt due to a stone wall in front of us that lead to two different paths. I stood still next to Peter and glanced at my surroundings, not knowing which way to go to.

"I'm not lost." Peter mumbled in annoyance.

"No." Trumpkin started and walked up to us, "You're just going the wrong way."

How optimistic of him to say.

I can't blame him, though.

"You last saw Caspian at the shuddering woods, and the quickest way there is to cross the river rush." The eldest sibling fired back.

"But unless I'm mistaken, there's no crossing in these parts." The dwarf told him, also getting annoyed.

"That explains it then, you're mistaken." Peter concluded. I rolled my eyes at his comment. He turned around and walked in a path. I glanced at the other siblings and turned back around as well, following the elder king.

We were walking through the woods, no big rocks surrounding us right now, just trees. We walked up on a slight hillside, but came to a halt due to the cliff in front of us. I was standing between Lucy and Peter, looking down at the deadly fall.

"You see, over time, water erodes the earth's soil , craving deeper-" Susan started, but got cut off by her older brother.

"Oh, shut up."
