"I don't know, Leo. This is something that's completely out of the ordinary for us. I mean, we've dealt with gang leaders, actual psycho killers and aliens from other dimensions but an X-man?" Raph responded.
"This is just another curveball, Raph. But until your knee is healed, we're not doing anything."
"And let that psycho run around doing what he pleases!? I don't think so!"
"What are you going to do?" Leo snapped. "You can't walk on your own, your ears are probably ringing right now, any blow to the head could end horribly. We can use this time to come up with a plan or figure out what he is. And hoe to destroy him." Leo reasoned. Raph leaned back onto the couch and sighed.
After a few days, Raph's knee was feeling better and was walking without the crutches, his headache was still there but not as prominent. To pass the time, he was in the lab with his younger brother, playing darts while Donatello worked on finding more information on Christian Morgan.
"Okay, okay, I think I got something." He smiled as he tapped his desk.
"Hit me." Raph responded as he walked over to collect the darts from the middle of the dart board.
"He was born in Laurel, Mississippi in nineteen eighty five, then there was a chemical spill not far from the hospital he was born in and him 'seeing the future' wasn't the only odd thing that happened in Laurel that year."
"What happened?"
"A man picked a car up, with one hand. A woman unhinged her jaw like a snake and devoured an entire pig and my personal favorite. Someone told the entire towns deepest secrets because they could 'read their minds'."
"That's cold."
"If someone could read your mind, and see your deepest darkest secret, how ticked would we be?"
"I don't have a deep, dark secret." Raph scoffed as he continued to throw the darts.
"Oh, come on, everyone's got a secret. A real dark secret."
"Nope, not me. Mona knows everything."
"Like, everything, everything?"
"Everything, everything." Raphael nodded. Donatello shivered as he looked at his immediate older brothers broad figure. When he looked closer at the back of Raphael's shoulder, he noticed a large bruise forming.
"Where'd you get that?"
"What?" Raph asked.
"The bruise."
"Probably a fight, or training." Raph shrugged, never turning to face his younger brother.
"That looks awfully fresh."
"Donnie, it's nothing." Raph snapped. Donatello looked at his big brother wide eyed before clearing his throat.
"My guess is the abilities this guys claims to have are because of the chemical spill."
"So radiation?" Leo asked as he entered the lab with two plates, each containing a slice of pizza.
"Like the Hulk?!" Mikey shouted with glee.
"Essentially, yes. Radiation like the Hulk." Donnie nodded.
"So, that doesn't change the fact that he can see the future, he can see all of our plans of attack, how are we gonna catch this guy by surprise?" Raph asked as he threw his last dart.
"Maybe we don't."
"Come again?" Raph said as he turned around.
"Maybe we don't try to catch him by surprise, but we get him to trust us."
