Bruce sat bored in the cinema chair next to me, Natasha and Tony fighting in front of us like children
It had been another rough day trying to find something to do when there was no missions and the only thing I could think of was the movies, we didn't feel like going to the public movies because of people wanting to kill us, or the fans wanting to bombard us with photos and hugs
I loved fans but I think after the other day when we went to the beach we were all mentally drained
And then it popped in our heads that we literally have a cinema in the compound
We were watching John Wick, Nat and Tony were arguing about which John wick was the best movie, Steve and Bucky were at the very front dozing of probably because they didn't really like action movies, Wanda, vision and Sam were all very deep into the movie and Clint was on his phone laughing at cute videos of animals failing, what a monster
Bruce stared at the screen but I could tell from his face he wasn't actually watching the movie, he was bored
I was bored
No one was paying attention either
And even though Steve said 'a chill day where we spend quality time together' he seemed to be pretty out of it
"You wanna get out of here?" I ask Bruce and he turns to look at me, a small smile appearing on his face
"You read my mind" I get up out of my seat and sneak out of the cinema, Bruce right behind me
I didn't know exactly where we were going but all I know is I didn't want to be in this house, I needed fresh air, somewhere else to explore
"Where should we go?" I ask Bruce as we make our way to the car tony let only Bruce use in times if he needed it
"Wherever" he says and I smile
"That sound like a great place,is it far?" I joke and he chuckles, opening my door for me making me smile even more
"It could be" he smirks before going to his side of the car, getting in and starting the engine
- 30 minutes later -
We had been driving for a while but I felt so free, the car was a convertible and it was blasting good music
Bruce looked genuinely happy, something he hadn't looked in the many years I've known him, and after having a thing for him it made me really happy to see him like this
My hair began blowing backwards and his was going crazy as we drove up this road on a mountain
After a few moments he parks the car near the edge of the cliff, staring at where the sun was beginning to set
"Come on" he says, getting out of the car and I get out as well, closing the door and walking over to Bruce who was walking to the edge of the cliff
He sits down on the edge so I sit down next to him
