 Five months later...

"What is it?" Kreel asked cautiously. There was a brief pause then the navigation lieutenant snapped, "Large ship baring, thirty-one by twenty-two degrees, five-thousand-kilometre distance."

"Lieutenant Tahn, what weapons would be most suitable to challenge the incoming ship?" Slate asked to the weapons officer.
"The tractors could pull the ship into our hangar bay, but I suggest we use ion cannons to disable it before," Tahn said, reading his console's display.
"Do so," Kreel called, "Communications officer Commander Hanford, patch me through. I'd like to say something to the ship before we decide to take action."
At the communications station, Commander Hanford signalled Kreel, "You're in, Captain."
Kreel stood, motionless, next to the weapons station. He had been listening in intense concentration, and now he exited the bridge and towards the Holoprojector table. He stared at the numerous officers at their stations, keying in signals and orders.
"This is Captain Kreel, commander of the ISD Justifier. Slow your speed and identify yourself. I repeat, identify yourself, you are trespassing Imperial property."

No reply.

"Captain!" Tahn shouted, "The ship has revealed several starfighters, unknown design."
"Spring our plan into action. They presume they can attack with their starfighters, with their warship cowering behind. Take them down." Kreel said. Tahn signalled his crew, and the ion cannons shifted into attack position.
"Crew, lets show them what an Imperial Star Destroyer can unleash. Fire at the warship. Wait!" Tahn had spotted something on the scanners. "Sir, the four enemy starfighters have penetrated the hull, sector 5A."
"5A, but that's near the hangar bay," challenged Lieutenant Landor from the navigation station.
"I didn't ask you, Lieutenant Landor. Well, the ion cannons have partially disabled the warship." Tahn said.
"What do you mean by partially disabled, Lieutenant?" Kreel asked.
"On some parts of the warship, they have fronted and reinforced shields, so the ion bursts couldn't hit those areas."
"Fire turbolasers at the fighters, then send TIE squad Alpha to destroy the warship," replied Captain Kreel.
"But sir, you wanted the ship disabled for inspection," reminded Hanford, checking her console.
"It's taken to much time. Lieutenant Tahn, I gave you an order." Kreel shifted his glare to Tahn and then to the viewport to find the fighters had been demolished by the weapons officer.
"Ah, excellent work, Lieutenant," Kreel said. A blaze of green lights burst from the TIEs and the warship decided to take evasive action, but it was too late for that. The TIEs had caught up with it and had fired at the warship, which obliterated into stardust.
"What design were they, Captain?" Landor questioned to the sergeant of Task Force 99.
"I know those ships. They're from Chagar IX." Kreel replied in a fit of rage.

Chagar IX was Kreel's home world. It was also where his mother and father lay in the soil, killed by their fellow inhabitants, and also where he was enslaved.

Kreel clenched his fist and said, "Those slavers deserved that." Kreel hadn't known that the Chagar IX slaver's had managed to escape the Empire, but yet they had. It had just been two weeks since he had beaten the troublesome rebels on Crait, and he had yet encountered another opponent. Even with a Star Destroyer at his disposal, this was certainly deemed tricky.
