It was only two days when Kreel had arrived on Escador when he saw a Star Destroyer appear into the atmosphere. Though now he had just remembered that the corvette was being monitored by Commander Hanford. He growled out curses under his breath and ran west, moving as far away from the corvette's landing sight. Two Imperial landing crafts, predictably carrying stormtroopers to the surface, launched from the Star Destroyer's hangar bay.
Kreel knew he couldn't outrun a Star Destroyer, nor a full platoon of stormtroopers. But he could attempt to lose them. The remote planet had never been studied, so there were many places where Kreel could hide and the Empire wouldn't be able to find him.
"Find Sergeant Kreel and bring him back. He probably got lost," Commander Hanford said to stormtrooper leader Major Carton.
"Yes, Commander," Carton's voice came over the comm. Carton had been waiting a mission, being on guard duty on the Justifier was not something he had enjoyed. He had been surprised that Kreel had crash-landed on an unknown destination."Oh, and Major, the sergeant may be injured. I suggest bringing in some medical assistance. I think we can guess he failed his mission," Hanford said, keying in the all clear signal for the medics to go as well.
"We'll find him, Commander, rest assured."
