The detention cell Kreel was put in had no contents other than a large bench, made out of a solid metal. It was placed under triple guard, under Carton's supervision. Kreel sat down on the bench, watching the blast door close behind him. He knew it was presumed impossible to breach a detention cell, unless the prisoner had a trick up his sleeve.
But before Kreel could even put some thought into his escape plan, Commander Hanford entered the cell, along with Major Carton and two stormtroopers. "You are to be transferred in one hour. Come along now, we don't want to be late, former sergeant," Hanford said, nodding in approval to the two stormtroopers. They grabbed Kreel with violence, and took him out of the cell towards the hangar bay. The short trip had been silent, other than the tapping of shoes against the steel ground.
The hangar bay consisted of many TIEs, loaded onto their racks, while some being repaired. Though in the centre stood an untouched landing craft, prepared for take off. Carton, Hanford, Kreel and the two stormtroopers entered. Seconds later, the spacious ramp shut, and the two pilots keyed in controls to lift off.
When in hyperspace, Kreel had started to wonder what his trial would determine. Or, more specifically, what sentence they would determine. Death was certainly a candidate, but also imprisonment and the labour of slavery. The star lines disappeared to reveal Stygeon, blockaded by two Star Destroyers. The pilots sent in the access codes, and the landing craft docked at the hangar of the prison, which sat on a steep cliff that was presently covered in snow.
And, waiting for Kreel, was Vader.
