Coruscant's system was visible when the Star Destroyer went out of hyperspace. Kreel needed to report his progress to Fleet Admiral Slate, who had been potentially been expecting him to arrive sooner. Kreel knew this was going to take some serious explaining. Though he was confident his actions had been of great benefit to the Empire.
Kreel's white shuttle hummed to life, and it left the Justifier's hangar bay and headed towards the surface of Coruscant.
Kreel stepped into Slate's office. But he hadn't been expecting Slate's body slumped on a red carpet beside the desk. Though there was no sign of struggle, and there were no blood marks. Just then, a dark figure entered, a swirling black cape tied around his neck.
"Sergeant Kreel, I see you have uncovered your commander. I am afraid Fleet Admiral Slate failed me, in every conceivable way," the silhouette said.
"I understand, Lord Vader," Kreel replied, his voice holding anxiousness. He knew he didn't want to mess with Vader.
"I have a following mission for you on the Skywalker boy. Reports from a reliable source indicate his presence on Ryloth. I wish for you to retrieve him and deliver him to me. Personally," Vader announced, his face pivoting to look at Kreel."Of course, Lord Vader."
