to 12 months after the baby is born)

Your baby was now 1 years old and you had a nice 1st birthday for her.

Yoonbum was trying to become a better person since he was now a dad, but that didn't change the fact that he kidnapped you, tortured you, raped you, abused you AND got you pregnant!

The baby was a girl, just like Yoonbum had hoped.
Her name was Eun. You named her that and surprisingly, Yoonbum liked it.

You and Yoonbum had gotten Eun a really nice cake that was small since it was only you three and she was allowed to have some.

She had a lot of gifts that you had to open for her since she was still learning and the house was a bit of a mess because of the wrapping paper and toys.

You sat down at the kitchen table while Yoonbum put the candles in the cake and lit them up.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Eun...happy birthday to you!"

You both sang happily and Eun smiled brightly, giggling.

You kissed Yoonbum's cheek and he cut the cake, and you watched.

"Here's your one" Yoonbum said, giving you your plate with a bit of cake on it.

"And here's your one sweetness" he gave Eun a plastic plate with a tiny bit of cake on it.

He cut a bit of cake for himself and sat down, slowly feeding Eun.

"Say aahhh" he opened his mouth, hoping Eun would do the same, which she did.

You watched them and chuckled, seeing them get along made you feel slightly happy, but god, you still hated Yoonbum.

All this 'being happy' around him was a bunch of bullshit.
Saying 'I love you' was bullshit.
A lot of it was, but he was a stupid prick and believed anything.

It was getting late and you put Eun in her little cot that was next to your bed.

She didn't really cry that much and that was good.

You weren't gonna lie, you hated kids. You hated when they would cry nonstop.
You'd wanna hit them, but obviously, you wouldn't.

You had slept well, and you looked pretty good for your 1st child. Yoonbum would always give you compliments and he really did mean them. I guess that made you happy, right?

You hoped that Yoonbum would keep up with the good behaviour and wouldn't suddenly turn into a dickhead.

I mean, yeah he was still a dickhead, but he wasn't showing abuse and aggression. He was also good with Eun, so that's really nice!

You thought about a lot every night before you'd go to sleep. About how Eun would be when she's older. How'd she look, how'd she'd act.

How would Yoonbum be like when she's a little older?
Nobody knows... Well, Yoonbum will probably get the idea on how he'll be.

He'll probably change.. He'll probably go back to his old self.

You really hope not though. You don't want your first and only daughter, growing up in a bad environment. You don't want her only childhood to be a living hell.

You want her to have a healthy and calm life. You even promised yourself and Yoonbum.
And you would want to keep that promise!
