Chapter 10 ❥

Asahi's POV

I sat in class a little distracted. Today was a lecture day so all we had to do was listen and take notes if needed. As the teacher spoke my mind kept wandering to Y/N. I didn't see her this morning so I assumed she was just running late.

When lunch came around I waited for her to show up like usual. But again she was a no show. I asked Sara if she had heard from her today but apparently she hadn't either.

I called her but she didn't respond. I sent her a couple of texts but she only responded with a simple 'sick'. I was growing worried about the lack of communication. I'll just have to visit her house after school today.

God my body hurts.

For the past two days, I've woken up just to be hunched over the toilet vomiting. I assumed it was stomach flu and decided to stay home today. Asahi called me a couple times but I was too sick to pick up the phone. So I opted to send the single word text.

I honestly felt like dying. Every time I thought I was okay enough to eat something like a cracker or a piece of toast, I threw it up.

At this point I'm not even sure what I was throwing up considering I haven't even eaten since yesterday.

I really just wanted my mom with me right now but she was working double shifts so she wasn't home to take care of me. I checked my temperature this morning, but I had no fever no fever. Which probably wasn't sick.

The only other possibility was that the nausea was from my upcoming period.

Wait....

I should've gotten my period two weeks ago. Getting nervous I grabbed my phone to check the app I had to track my cycle. And I'm two weeks late.

This is okay... I'm only 17, this happens to girls my age all the time. An irregular period is a normal thing. I'll drive myself crazy stressing about this. Me and Asahi have been careful, extremely careful. I wouldn't allow us to have sex without a condom. So a baby was nothing to worry about. I'll give this stomach bug a week before I start to stress about anything else.

Though I asked Kiyoko to get the work for me, as I laid in bed thinking about what I was possibly missing a knock came from the front door. I rolled out of bed and walked through the main hallway to the door.

I checked the peephole and saw that it was Asahi. I definitely was not expecting him to just show up to my house today.

I opened the door and greeted him with a weak smile. "Hey, Asahi." He immediately grabbed my face and gave me a quick kiss.

"Y/N, you don't look too good. What's wrong?" Asahi walked into the house and placed his hand on my forehead. "You're not hot so you don't have a fever."

"It's just a stomach bug. I'll be fine soon, pinky promise." It was new habit we had gotten into recently. I held up my pinky and so did he. "Can you eat? I can make you a sandwich or some soup."

"I'll just throw it up anyway."

"You want to cuddle?"

"Please." He grabbed my hand and walked us into my bedroom.

Asahi laid with his back in the bed. I laid on top of his with face nestled in his neck, inhaling his cinnamon sent. The room is cool from the AC being on for last 20 minutes.

I was content as we laid there with a Disney movie playing in the background. I started off by simply rubbing my back.

Eventually, he started giving me booty rubs, which are my favorite, and I started to doze off letting sleep consume me.

When I woke up Asahi was gone and my mother was home. I checked the time to see that it was 6:03. Getting up I saw a note my dresser.

Sorry to leave you like this. Your mom came home and I had to sneak out, call me when your feeling better.

Aww at least he left a note.

"Y/N! Come eat I made dinner."

"Mom I told that I had a stomach bug, I can't eat. I'll just throw it."

"Hmm, well just eat the rice at least, that way you won't burn up your stomach.

After eating the rice she made I went to room to lay down. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was back asleep.
