Pat
The nervousness started to creep into me as we waited for the evaluators to come into the training room. "It's going to be okay. We nailed our practices before. It'll be no doubt we'll get positive results from the evaluators today." Areum said. "And we can get to debut." I quietly added.
"And we can get to debut." She assured. I slowly looked at her before a small smile creeped in my mouth. Areum returned it with a bigger one.
As we did our stretches and polished our routine, someone knocked on the door. Lyn opened it and revealed Leslie with Seungmin, Hyunjin, Chan and Jisung. Leslie then excitedly gestured for me to go outside once we met eye contact. I quickly obeyed. "Are you still practicing?" She asked. I scoffed, "It's obvious."
"Okay. We won't be long. We just wanted to say good luck, okay? We'll be here to either celebrate or comfort you when it's done." She smiled. "But I'm sure you'll get that debut date now because of your perseverance." She winked before opening her arms, inviting me to her embrace. I smiled before going to her warmth.
Once we broke the hug, the rest started motivating me. From Chan's fatherly advice to Hyunjin's neverending reminders that he says even during our one-on-one practices. Once they all expressed their wishes for me, a figure stayed. I turned and saw it's Jisung's figure. "Oppa?" I called.
Jisung turned before softly smiling at me. "Good luck." He said shortly. "I was expecting a speech from you."
"I already told you last night."
"You did?"
"I did. Now go before the evaluators come." He said, pushing me towards the training room. "But I didn't hear it." I pouted. "It's your fault why you didn't hear it, okay? Now, go." He said before closing the door behind me.
Once it clicked, their heads turned at me, making me freeze on my spot. "Uh... Continue?" I said.
I breathed when they went back to their businesses. I also went back to my place. Right before I started a move, someone knocked on the door before opening. It revealed our coaches with the CEO. I gulped before I quickly lined up with my co-trainees.

We bowed as they left. I breathed in relief now that the evaluation ended. The one that we're dreaded ended. Despite our tiredness, we respectfully bowed to the CEO and our trainers. They returned it before they closed the door behind them.
As we heard it, we all fainted on the floor, taking all the breath we lost from both of our nervousness and the passion we showed. "I can't believe it's over." Minji exhaled, closing her eyes in the process. "Good thing we didn't make any errors." Areum agreed, following us soon after.
Not long after, someone knocked on our door. We all shot up, expecting one of our trainers to come back to check on us. Trisha opened the door.
To our relief, it's Leslie. "Sunbae!" They all beamed. Leslie nodded before slipping herself in our training room. "So how was it?" She asked. By that time, we're all standing in front of her with a fair distance between us. "I thought they'd scold us for not meeting their expectations, sunbae." Narin said, our members nodding their heads.
"Well. I assume this would be your last evaluation since you're all just waiting for your debut." They nodded. "Don't worry guys. If you knew they didn't give you any negative reactions, I'm sure that you'll never let them down once you debut." She motivated us, raising our optimism. They all nodded in confidence.
"Well, I just came here to cheer you up and tell you some gossip that they might announce the results tomorrow. Who'll be in different positions and your debut date." She said, We all attentively listened as we all widened our eyes with this new found information. "Fighting guys!" Leslie finally cheered before leaving.
"That's a surprising gossip." Sorin said. I nodded. We then went in silence before the door reopened. "Oh and your coaches told me you can leave early." Leslie added before closing the door again. "What do you think of eating out?" Lyn smirked, mischief evident in her eyes.

"This toast is for us not failing our probably... 13th evaluation over." Lyn said, raising her blueberry juice. We all followed her as we made a toast, drinking the contents of our glasses.
Currently, we're in a cafe. They all decided that it's too early for us to go grill meat and they prohibited us from going to any grill houses. "Guys, look at that." Sorin said as she pointed to something-or someone behind us.
We all turned and saw Leslie's arms linked to Seungmin's as they ordered. The girls all started squealing, as if they're watching a kdrama. As for me, I just looked at who's behind them.
Jisung's being a third wheel... Again.
I observed him. He got his lips pouted as he debated what he'll get on the menu. His eyes slide from left to right, tapping his impatient foot on the marbled floor of the cafe. When he, I guess, sensed someone's looking at him, he turned. His eyes then met mine.
My breath hitched. He's looking at me in public. I gulped before smiling awkwardly at him. He returned my smile, however, genuine. He then drifted his eyesight before looking back at me, raising his hand and waving it a little. That made me leave a full on stupid grin on as I raised my hand, returning his wave.
"Who're you waving at?" Areum, who's beside me, asked. I turned to her, yet, avoiding her piercing gaze. "N-no one." I gulped. I slowly dared to look at her eyes. However, caught me off guard because of that sly smile of hers. "No one, huh?" She mockingly asked.
I quickly nodded to hide my embarrassment. I took a sip on my matcha latte.
"Hey girls." A voice beamed from behind us. We turned to see Leslie acknowledging us. My members then smiled excitedly, "Come sit with us, sunbaedeul." Lyn said. Leslie smiled as she pulled Seungmin and took a seat across from me. Jisung didn't follow, but someone tapped on my shoulder. I looked up to see Jisung gesturing at me to move a space for him. "Oh, sunbae!" Areum looked surprised as he took a seat.
Jisung hummed in a questioning manner as he turned at my friend. "Nothing." Areum replied, dismissing the matter. Jisung then turned at me, "It's okay if I sit here, right?" He asked. I shook my head, "Of course it's okay... Sunbae-nim." I said. He smiled before turning to our circle.
I grabbed my drink as I took a sip.
This might take a while.

My members waved goodbye at me as I followed the three. "I never thought you guys would be here." Leslie turned to me, now walking backwards as she talked to me. "Coincidence." I shrugged. Leslie shrugged as well, "Fair point." She said before turning back ahead as she linked her arms with Seungmin.
"That was a nice coincidence." Jisung sparked as we followed the couple's footsteps. "Do you perhaps... go there, oppa?" I asked. He turned to me before turning ahead, "Seungmin invited me to go with them. I was also craving ice americano at that time, so I tagged along."
I nodded my head in understanding. "Question 11?" He suddenly asked.
Is it fate when you coincidentally meet again?
He turned to me, "What do you think?"
"If I'm that person who believes in destiny, it's a yes. I mean, I don't want to destroy my belief that everyone is destined to meet. Either to make your life better or worse." "But?"
"But what?"
"Are you that person who believes in fate and destiny?" He asked.
That made me pause. "I mean, just because you believe in fate and destiny doesn't make you any human. They want to feel they're not alone, even if it's made by their minds. At least they won't feel the sad reality of life that they're basically alone" He said. "Does that make sense?" He asked, turning to me. "Was that your answer?" I asked.
He smiled before nodding.
"Then I believe." I return the smile.
