Pat

"Okay. Let me guess. You told me it's a song by Shawn Mendes." I told him, slowly putting the pieces together. "I didn't tell you that it was Shawn Mendes." He said.

"Then who?" I asked.

"Maybe the writer? She sang that song before." He said. "Who? Leslie?" I asked again. "Les-wait. Is that her real name?"

"No-wait. Why are we including her here? I thought we're guessing something." I told Jisung. "Oh yeah. Right."

"But it's part of the hints."

"I swear to god, Han. One last mention of the author, I might throw you." I threatened him. Then the place turned quiet. "So let's assume you sang a Shawn Mendes song." I started, "Is it a recent song?" I asked him.

"No." Han shook his head. "Was it... during his fetus years?"

"Fetu-Pat. Respect the artist, will you?"

"He isn't even reading the book."

"Pat. Stop." He said, making me sigh, "Fine." "But I think I know the song." I continued.

"What?" He asked, anticipating. "Was it... Life of the Party by Shawn Mendes?" I asked. He smiled before nodding, "Correct!" I jumped as I started to squeal. Happy to guess the answer correctly. "Okay, okay. Pat, enough. It's my turn." Han laughed as he looked at my jumping figure. Still can't contain the happiness, I took a seat as I continued laughing.

"Okay. Guess mine then." I told him. He paused as he thought of a song. "I'll give you a hint. It's a song from one of your albums." I said to him which was only returned with silence. Still thinking about the answer, he stood up as he started walking back and forth.

"Do you need another hint?" I convincingly asked him.

He only shook his head.

Waiting for ten minutes, a groan left my mouth as I barely looked at Jisung's figure walking back and forth. "A hint would be useful." I convinced him as I let out a yawn. Letting out a growl, he slowly said 'fine' under his breath.

Smiling in triumph, I shifted. "It's from Cle 2."

He thought for a second before snapping his finger as if he cracked a code. "Is it Side Effects?" He asked, anticipating.

I nodded my head. "Man, you answered that long," I said as I watched him jump in victory. "Question 1, clear!" He shouted. Laughing from his antics, I stood up as I went to his side. "Well, Oppa. Now that we're done with it, why don't we go back and have dinner?" I asked him.

"Sounds good to me." He answered.

Smiling next to him, we started to head towards the door.

Heading outside of the door as I bid my farewell to my group, I turned at the corner only to see Jisung standing at the side. "I see you're waiting for someone, Oppa." I started. He turned to me as he smiled, "I walk you home, remember?" He said. I shrugged before we both headed out of the company.

"Question 2," I told him. He then turned, processing what I said before having a breathy chuckle. "Favorite season." He muttered. "Yours must be easy, Pat." He said. I looked at him with a challenging look, "What is it?"

"Summer."

I scoffed before realizing what I wrote. My eyes widened. "Am I right?" He asked, voice with anticipation. "Fine. Yes. It's correct." I sighed, defeated.

He fist-bumped the air as he smiled in victory. "I just made it easy for you, squirrel." I defended myself. "The most common favorite season is your favorite. Why?" He asked. "Summer is when you won't have to go to school. That's why it's my favorite."

"So you hate school." He asked pointedly. "That's not the poi- hey, my turn to guess," I said, noticing he asked too much. "Go ahead. I'm sure you won't guess it right."

"Summer?"

"Nope."

"Spring?"

"No."

"Then what is it?" I asked, giving up immediately. "Already?" He asked. I nodded my head, "You give up early, Pat. You still haven't mentioned two seasons."

"Fine!" I exclaimed. "Is it winter?"

"Yup." He smiled cheekily. "Why?"

"People thought of it as the worst season. But for me, that's the only time when I could feel the warmth. Make me feel like I'm home for some reason." He explained. "I mean, yes my members can make me feel that way. But it's different."

"How different?"

"The warmth that I feel is different. Like the warmth you feel with your family." He sighed. "What's with it? The warmth from a family feels like home to me." I told him, to which he heaved a soft chuckle. "Pat, you will feel that warmth I'm saying when you feel it."

Then the atmosphere around us grew silent.

Jisung is a total crackhead, as far as I know. He can brighten up one's day by just opening his mouth to say something funny. But, the Jisung in front of me now isn't the person who you see on camera. We continued walking in silence, eyes turning to him as I thought of what he said.
