We waited in anticipation in the room.

JYP told us the results will be announced today, which is making us excited at the same time nervous as the clock ticks. "Should we remove the clock's battery?" Minji laughed nervously, lifting the tension of the atmosphere. "Look. Whatever happens, we'll accept it. Besides, we did this one too many times." Lyn said, standing to make her speech. We all looked at her, "I don't know Lyn. We've been stuck here for almost two years now. The world doesn't know who we are, we haven't showcased them what we're capable of. Leslie even was training with us, but look at her now. She's one of the well-known rising gems of kpop." Trisha's pessimistic self said.

Even if it isn't quite obvious, we all agree. I mean, can you imagine yourself training so hard and then you wouldn't let you debut for two years? That's why it's hard to be an idol. "Is it the time for you to be negative, eonnie?" I asked absentmindedly to Trisha. She incredulously looked at me before scoffing. "I can't believe you also side with Lyn here."

"I'm not siding with anyone, eonnie. It's just that being negative in this situation will only stress others here-"

I was cut off when we heard the door click open, revealing one of our trainers. We all stood and bowed respectfully at him. He returned our bow before entering. "I'm here to tell you to go to the conference room to discuss your debut date and your positions." He said.

As if we couldn't believe our ears, we all looked at each other. Eyes wide if we heard right. He noticed, "Almost forgot to mention. As we have discussed with the board, we decided to let you girls debut. After all the effort you've shown to us, your trainers and through your monthly evaluations, we are certain that you are now ready." He said.

That's when my ears started ringing.

Us? Debuting? After two whole years of training?

My members also couldn't believe the news. "So, be ready to go. Okay?" He said before leaving again. "Oh and congratulations on your debut." He said before closing the door.

We all then jumped and screamed in excitement. "I told you we would make it!" Areum said beside me as she side hugged me. I turned to her, now smiling from ear to ear. The euphoria that I'm experiencing is beyond comparison. "Okay. Let's not get too excited. We still need to meet them in the conference room." Lyn said as she opened the door.

"Fighting!" We all said one by one as we left the room.

"Guess who's the main dancer and maknae of Stargaze." I beamed as I made my way inside Leslie's designated room. Leslie opened her mouth, "No way! You guys made it." She screamed before running up to me, crushing me in a bear hug. "Hey. I can't b-breathe." I said, patting her back in surrender. She loosened her grip, "After two years of training, you're now close to reaching your dream, Pat." She said,

I started to notice her eyes getting glossy. "Seriously?! Stop being dramatic." "How can't I do this if this is what we've dreamed of ever since we were talking online?" She asked. I hugged her again, reminiscing about our past together. "I heard about Stargaze." I heard a voice from behind me. I turned and saw Hyunjin walking in the room.

"Oppa. Can you believe it? You'll be my sunbae from now on." I giggled. He smiled down at me before hugging me. "Congratulations on your debut, Pat." He sighed.

"And bonus. With your help, I'm the main dancer of the group."

"Really? I knew JYP and the other trainers could see the potential in you." He said as he ruffled my hair. I gave him a look before returning my grin. "This really needs a celebration." Leslie said.

"Say. You want to go eat dinner with Stary Kids?" She asked.

The apartment is crowded when it's only a matter of 11 individuals. "Congratulations on your debut, Pat!" The members of Stray Kids said in chorus as Leslie and Bomin popped confettis. I laughed, "Thank you guys! I can't believe this day would come." I said. "Hey, stop. You should've been thanking God since he gave this day for you and your members, instead of saying this day wouldn't come." Leslie pouted.

I looked at her, amused. "Look at you being pouty." I cooed. "Anyway. Feel yourselves at home and help yourselves." I turned to our visitors, who're watching the whole mini drama, and encouraged them to eat.

Since they told us they haven't yet eaten dinner, they all feasted the meal like wolves who haven't eaten for months. "Slow down. It's not like they would take your food from you." I giggled.

As I got my meal, I walked to look for a seat available. "Pat." A voice called. I turned to see Hyunjin, who's beside Jisung, gesturing for me to go there. I took a seat beside him-in between the two. "I forgot to express my gratitude to you because you helped me with the slightest, I appreciate that oppa." I turned to Hyunjin. Hyunjin swallowed what he's chewing, "Don't thank me, Pat. I just taught you. It's on you if you want to take my teachings, which you did, seriously or not." He said as he kept his warm smile intact. "

I reciprocated his smile as we then discussed nonsensical topics through the whole evening.

We all crowded the living room after that heartfelt dinner. "Pat. Do you have a board game here or something?" Jeongin asked as his eyes couldn't hold contact because of looking. "Go ask Bomin eonnie, oppa." I smiled at him. He nodded before leaving.

"Why does he want to play when we could watch a movie?" Changbin asked as he followed Jeongin's happy figure leaving the room. "Let him be. He's still a baby." Minho sighed, eyes still glued on the television. Not long after, Jeongin came back smiling. Hands behind him.

"Anyone care for Halli Galli?" He asked as he pulled what's behind him.

You might be wondering... Why am I publishing often in Behind Camera?

Well, I made a mini note for my stories' details. Even the date when I'll finish it. And it happens to be the last day of completion of this book would be May 25.

So yeah... Hopefully I finish this before or on that date.
