Behind Camera [HJS]: Chapter 2

Pat

Morning breeze hit my face as we walked towards the company. "Hurry up, Bacon." I heard Leslie called as I picked up my pace, a scowl evident on my face.

Upon entering, front desk clerks greeted us. We returned their greeting and went to the elevator. "Hyunjin, Oppa!" I beamed as I saw Hyunjin by the elevator door, also waiting for the door to open.

He then smiled at me, then asked, "How's the training going on?" "Don't start." I groaned. Then, silence engulfed us shortly before Leslie went beside me. "Oh, hi Hyunjin Oppa!" She greeted him once she saw him beside me. "Hey, Leslie! How are you and Seungmin?"

"Still absorbing the fact that he announced our relationship publicly." She sighed. The elevator doors then opened as we all went in. "JYP confirmed it?!" I exclaimed as the door closed. "He told me to meet him later with Seungmin." She replied, looking a bit nervous. I tapped her shoulder, "Everything will be fine. JYP would at least understand it."

Since Leslie debuted a year ago, she still can't date anyone. Not until Seungmin came into the picture, they hid their relationship until last week, when Stray Kids celebrated their 3rd anniversary. Seungmin then boldly announced their relationship.

Now, resulting them in a situation like this.

We then heard the elevator pinged, indicating that we arrived at our destination. The three of us have the same designated floor. We stepped out of the elevator, Hyunjin separating ways with us. "I hope everything will go smoothly." I continued our conversation.

She hummed in reply, checking her phone for any message from JYP. I looked in the hallway that we're taking, meeting a pair as we got closer to my training room.

Seungmin and Jisung.

"Bub! Thank god you're here." Seungmin then exclaimed, making his girlfriend jump in surprise. "God, Boo. Stop doing that." She scowled at the poor boy. He then pouted at her, making me cringe and uwu at the same time. "She's been nervous ever since we stepped in the building," I stated a fact, then looked at the boy who's not joining the conversation.

"Hello, Jisung oppa~," I said to him. He then looked at me and nodded at me, acknowledging my greeting. "Seungmin, I'll head first then." He excused himself. "I'll also proceed to my room then. My members might be waiting for me." I said as I left the pair.

Leslie

"Why did you announce our relationship on Vlive?!" I asked him, hitting his arm. He turned his attention to me, smiling sheepishly. "I can't help it." He said, hugging me. I scoffed lightly, a smile slowly etched on my lips. "Stop with the flirting and let's go to my office." JYP then showed up from nowhere, separating us from our warm shared hug.

Closing the door behind us, we can't help but smile at the news.

JYP allowed us to date, despite me breaking that three-year dating ban from the contract. Convinced from what I told him that it won't affect my work, I almost squealed when he ended there and said will confirm our relationship shortly after.

Walking back and entering the practice room for my practice for the upcoming comeback, I felt two arms engulfed me from behind. I turned and looked at my boyfriend, who's grinning from ear to ear. "Aww... Boo, you seemed happy." I stated the obvious, still hugging him.

"We can go on dates then?" He asked, still smiling. I gave him a peck on the lips as I nodded. He also nodded, returning his lips to mine.

He then leaned his forehead on mine as I looked at his eyes, lovingly.

We stayed like that for a minute or so when we heard a knock on the door. "Can we get Seungmo back?" Chan entered as he looked at our position, us still hugging. "Bub, I still don't want to go back." He whined, now hiding behind me.

I sighed, removing his arms on my waist. "Here you go, Oppa. You can have him back." I stated, which doubled his whining.

Spending my 10-minute break, I went to Leslie's room.

Knocking, I heard people talking inside then a faint 'come in' was said from the other side. I opened the door, "what's happening here?" I asked. They looked at me, acknowledging my presence. "Seungmo here doesn't want to go back," Chan said.

"Hey, just because now you can go public that also means that you can now be clingy and make your girlfriend as an excuse to skip practice." He continued. Still pouting, Seungmin left behind Leslie and went beside her. "Don't worry Boo, we'll meet before the day ends." She convincingly said, making Seungmin's face brighten.

He then nodded vigorously and received a kiss on the cheek. "Pat, is it just me or you can also feel that cringe?" Chan asked, looking at me, also cringed from the view we witnessed. "Oppa, I'm here if you want some company." I joked to which he shrugged.

"Guys. Manager Hyung told me to pick you guys since you're taking forever." Jisung said, surprising us. "We better leave then," Chan stated. "Pinky promised that," Seungmin said, before leaving the room. "I never thought Oppa would be like this once your relationship is publicly announced," I said as they pinky promised.

"I also don't know the sudden change from him." Leslie sighed, sitting on the couch beside me. "He wasn't that clingy." She continued. Nodding, I asked, "Wait... JYP accepted it even if you broke that three-year dating ban?" "As long as it won't affect our careers, it would be fine." She replied. I nodded.

"Let's meet again tomorrow. We still have to improve your vibrato." My voice coach told me. Bowing as I left the room, Hyunjin showed up. "Oppa!" I exclaimed, "What are you doing?" I continued asking. "I'm hungry and Leslie told me to take care of you." He answered as we walked to the elevator.

Damn, I love you so much eonnie...

Walking out of the elevator, we proceeded to JYP's cafeteria. Where the home of organic food is. "Let's eat dinner before going home," Hyunjin told me as I trailed behind him. "You're not going to eat with your members?" I then asked as we took a tray to fill with food.

"What's the point if a member is not present?" He said, almost making me cry with his statement.

We took a seat, him in front of me. "Bon Appetit," I said as we munched in.

The whole meal was silent. Little conversations from time to time until someone showed up behind Hyunjin.

As we made eye contact, I suddenly choked on my food, catching the attention of the person in front of me.

"You okay?" Hyunjin asked alarmingly, giving me my cup. I took big gulps until my throat was satisfied.

"What are you doing here Oppa?"
