The sky was dark with gray clouds swirling. I was in the middle of an open field with no buildings in view. Just empty fields. The wind wirled around and around, the clouds had gotten grayer and turned more and more. Suddenly there where three funnels from the sky, they stretched and they thickened. Once all three of them touched the ground, they sped toward me. I panicked and ran. I ran and ran till I couldn't. By that time they where surrounding me. And that was the end.
I woke up with a start, breathing heavily. I looked out my big window on the right from me, the sky was black and dark purple with gray clouds scattered. It looked like my nightmare I had last night.
Know the sky turned just the same, I could here the wind howling in from my window. There was a twister coming straight our way.
"Zenlay!" I screamed for my sister. I ran out of bed and down the hall to my sisters room.
"Wake up! There's a twister!" I shoke my little sister. She woke with a start with her eyes wide. I grabbed her hand and we ran down stairs.
"What's happening?" Zenlay said almost crying. She looked at me with big eyes as I opened the basement door.
"There's a tornado! Get in the basement! I'm getting mom and dad!". I screamed, the front door busted open. There I saw the funnel lowering to the ground. I quickly shut the door and ran for my parents room.
"Mom! Dad! Wake up there's a tornado!". I screamed shaking both of them. The sky swirled as the twister touched the once soft dirt.
"What?" My dad and my mother asked as they rose from there bed. The window had shattered above them.
"Run!" My dad yelled, "I have to get Zenlay!" My mother ran. I was behind her and my dad behind.
"Dad I got her! Down stairs!" I ducked as tree trunks broke the glass of our windows. My dad nodded and we all made it to the basement.
It was quite down there. But still quite a ruckes.
"Mommy!" Zenlay ran to my mom. My mom grabbed her and lead her to the old bathroom down there. My and dad followed.
"In the bathtub!" Mom screamed. Zenlay was the first in then me, mom and then dad. Zen lay and my mother where crying. I held in the tears as the house shook. It sounded like a million trains where racing across our house.
