I woke to a Unicorn nudging me of the mossy ground below meBig, twisted trees loomed above me covering the sky.
I sat up to observe more, the unicorn just stood there looking at meIts big black eyes stared at me curiously
"Hi big girl." I slowly raised my hand to its muzzleShe exoted my hand and moved her muzzle to my handShe was an all black unicornShe was no evil oneShe was really kind and compassionate
I stood up and grabbed the unicorns mane with a tugShe flinched a little but didn't kick or anything
"Can I ride you?". I asked her like a was a unicorn whisperShe turned her head and looked at me with bright eyes
I slowly lifted my leg onto her backShe didn't moveI grabbed her mane to help pull me up onto herSoon my other foot elevated of the ground as I centered to the middle of her backShe turned her head and looked at me nudgin my hands which where gripping onto her mane
I could feel her spine through her soft coatI smiled and wrapped my legs around her like there was a saddleStill holding her mane.
"Come on girl." I spoke softly as I tapped her lightly on the hind and she took off in a trot.

"Shes not dead!". An unfamiliar voice sounded.  I looked up out of the bathtub as a man grabbed me and pulled me out.  Where was my family?  I sure wasn't in the basement anymore.

"Ma'am! Are you OK?". The man laid me on the ground.  I could feel small hard humps of rock on my back.  Where was I?

"Where am I?" I said franticly sitting up looking around.  I was in a drive way leading to a barn.

"Don't talk, I'll help you." The man spoke.  He picked me up in a cradled position and walked toward the barn.  His brown hair was screwed up from the wind and his Hazel eyes looked as he where aware.  He looked at me and smiled, I smiled back.  That's when I closed my eyes and feel asleep.

My vision was blurry at first but once I could see my surroundings I saw the man sitting next to me.  He wasn't paying attention to me though.

I looked around, we where in a barn, probably the same one as earlier.  It smelt of manure but it was warm and cozy like the bed of straw I was laying in.

"Your awake?" He said feeling my forehead.  I looked at him.

"Who are you?" I said warily

"I'm Dakota." He said.  His voice was soft and calm.  He stood up and walked to the big doors of the entrance,  a big surge of wind ungulfed in.  He struggled just a little to shut the door and latch it.

"Where you in that tornado?" He asked as he walked back.  He was quite tall and he had some muscles.

"Ya, with my family in the bathtub in our basement." I softened when I though about my house and my family. Were where they?  Zenlay was under me during it.  How could she slip out?  I tried to shake it off but it kept sticking.

"That's where the bathtub came in.  Where do you live?" He asked.  It was kindof stalkerish.

"I live just east of Medlow by 8 miles." He gasped.

"Really?  Did you know 2 adults where found dead there? The tornado was F5.  It was huge." He nodded toward me. My parents, they where dead.  I felt tears come from my eyes.  They stung at the thought of them.  My heart burned, the last time I saw them was then we loaded the bathtub.  Where was Zenlay?

"Omg, my parents." I started to ball.  Quickly I felt large warm arms surround me.  Dakota hugged me.

"Shhh, just remember there in a good place know." Dakota hung on to me.  I shoved my face into his shoulder soaking it with tears.  He let go of me and told me to lay down.

"I can't! I have to find my sister!  She was under me in the bath tub!" I tried to get up and run by he grabbed me around my waist and lifted me up.  I screamed and struggled to get free but his grip didn't loosen.  He walked me over to the straw bed and laid me down.

"Stay, your injured,  you need to rest.". He soothed me.  I took a deep breath as he reached in a white wooden box and pulled out a fleece blanket.

"Sleep, you need rest." He spoke as he covered me up.  I listened and wrapped the blanket around me.  He got up and walked to the oppiste end of the barn to a stall.  He opened it and an all black mare came out of it.  She looked just like the unicorn.

"Hope you don't mine Selena, I let her wonder around the stall at night.  She won't hurt. Night." He said climbing a ladder to the loft on top of the stalls.

"Night." I said sadly.  Today a tornado ruined my house, killed my parents and lost my sister.
