Dreams

Chapter 6

   Zenlay and Dakota came home about 2 hours after they had left with bags of food and clothing.
  Zenlay had gotten me a pair of jeans  and some sweat pants with a long sleeve and a short sleeve t-shirt.  She had also gotten me a pair of combat- like boots.
  "Thanks Zenlay, Dakota." I said folding up the clothes.  Zenlay was folding up her clothes and Dakota was feeding Selena. 
  I hadnt told Dakota about how I was reading the books.  I didn't know if I should because then he would teach me, then it wouldn't be by myself.  I'll tell him later when I know the basics.
  "Hadlee, what did you do when we left?" Dakota asked know swepping the scattered hay on the ground from Selena. I only hesitated for a second, I should just tell him.
  "Hope you don't mine, but I found some books and read.  They where kind of old but I was carful with them.". I said, I did only say half the truth.  He looked at me with a second of worried but quickly back to his nature face. 
  "OK, just.. Just be careful.  I'm planing to sell them when they are super rare."
  I nodded and went into the loft to put my clothes up.  As I climbed the ladder with one hand holding the clothes and the other on the ladder, I felt as if I was going to fall.  But I didn't.  I walked to the closest window and set them under.  It was like 1 in the afternoon and I needed a shower.  I climbed back down the ladder to ask Dakota.
   "Dakota, do you have a shower?" I asked him.  Once again he was working on repairing things.
  "Uh, ya the showers outside on the side.  You might want to take a bath though," he said leaning against a wall,"The baths is next to Selena's stall.  Its weird but you can pet her will in there." He smirked.
  I rolled my eyes.
  "I'll take a bath and have Selena watch me." I said sarcasticly. Dakota smiled and went back to work. I walked over by Selena's stall and went to the left of the stall.  I peeked inside.
  It looked like the tack room except without the tack,  it had a tin water troph with a facet welded onto the edge.  Probably suppost to be the bath tub, there was also a cabinet with towels and a window next to the tub where Selena was.
  "Hi girl." I spoke.  Her head popped out of the window and sniffed.  I laughed and rubbed up and down her muzzle. 
  I locked the door and turned on my water.  Its wasn't the warmest but it was nice.  I layed a towel on the floor and unclothed.  I crawled into the tub and relaxed.  Tomorrow I was going to finish the basic book and ride Selena.  Well hopefully.
