"Go fish," I said.
"You got any 10s?" I asked.
"Damn it," Christopher muttered as he handed over 3 of his 10's.
"You got any 4s?" Christopher asked.
"Go fish," I replied.
Right now Christopher and I were playing Go Fish (I'm pretty sure your not stupid though so you might have already figured it out) in the Get Together room of Assassin Academy while Theodore is having a talk with Mr. Pillar and my father.
Hanna, Brianne, Jaxon and Jessie were just watching Christopher and I play Go Fish.
But, not in a good way, more like a;
Are-They-Really-Playing-Go-Fish-Right-After-Someone's-Fingers-Just-Got-Cut-Off- Kind of watching.
"Ha! I win," I said while slamming my cards down on the table.
"No shit Sherlock," Christopher muttered.
"Fuck you Watson," I shouted happily while doing my victory dance.
"Ray! Stop dancing," Ordered Theodore.
And suddenly my body was as stiff as a board, still, and not moving an inch.
With my hand by my sides and my feet together, I asked, "How did everything go, Theo?"
"Fine," He said curtly while looking at me, silently telling me to shut up.
I nodded and asked once more; "Can I move now please?"
"Mhm," Theo hummed.
My body relaxed and I went to sit beside Christopher.
"We have come to an agreement," My father announced.
"I'm sorry Raelyn, but you will not be getting your Reverse Injection," Mr. Pillar spoke.
"WHAT!" I yelled.
"I figured you wouldn't need it," Theo said.
"No," I protested, "I need it, please give it to me!"
(A/N: No sexual innuendo intended)
"Shut up, Ray!" Theo ordered at me.
And being the good little Assassin I was, I listened and shut my mouth.
"Theo will be the new principle of Assassin Academy and you will all still be attending your classes." My father spoke.
We all started to shout (Excluding Christopher and I) but Mr. Pillar shut us down.
"Kids, it alright, everything will be okay," he reassured us.
"No, it won't be," I heard Brianne mutter.
And then after Theo left, leaving me here with them, we all sat in silence.
Taking in the last few moments.
And wondering when everything went so wrong.
