Recap:
He looked angry, he started to shriek and shake violently, I could tell that he said some unintelligible words, and I could tell that his words got to Hanna when she came out of the room.
Her eyes were red, "Good luck," She said to the rest of us, she left the room and I felt sorry for her, even though I knew I shouldn't be.
But whatever George said to her, killed her inside.
But what I really wanted to know was, how did he break her so fast?
Present Moment:
*Edited*
By the time it was my turn to go inside, I was scared as hell.
Jaxon, Jessie, Hanna, and Brianne all came out distraught, with puffy eyes and sniffling uncontrollably.
That was absolutely not, under any circumstances, going to happen to me.
As I opened the door heading into the interrogation room, George laughed.
"Well, if it isn't little Miss No Emotions,"
I gave him a questioning look.
"Oh, I've been observing you Raelyn, you don't like to show emotions because you want to make your daddy happy, well, is it working? Is your dad happy? Are you happy? Because-"
I've had enough of this already.
"Okay, I already know that you think you're the shit. So let's just get this out of the way and understand who's really in control here, okay?" I interrupted him with only a quarter amount of my sassiness.
"Well," Said George, "You've got spunk,"
"I know," I said while sitting down and crossing my left leg over my right, ready to get this shit done.
"Why were you capturing all those people? I asked.
"Oh, you really like to get right down to business, don't you?" He taunted.
"Let's just get this clear, as far as I'm concerned I can hurt you as much as I want to get my answers, and just because you sent everyone else out of this room crying and sad doesn't mean that you'll do the same to me. If you so much as avoid the question one more time, I will drive my pencil into your leg," I barked, I've never been so angry.
Actually I have, but I've just never been in this kind of situation before.
For a second he actually looked scared, but then he caught himself and put back on his taunting face.
"Now I'm going to ask you one. More. Time, why were you capturing all those people?"
This was his last chance.
"Did you know that you hair is a very nice shade of brown?"
I abruptly stood up from my chair and hovered over George.
"You won't really stab me with a pencil, will you?" He was calling a bluff on me.
I smirked before, jamming my pencil so deep into his thigh that only the tip of the eraser was showing.
"Great," I said, unamused, "Now I have blood all over my new manicure," It wasn't exactly new, but I did get it before I went on the mission to check out George.
He groaned painfully.
I slowly started to pull out the pencil.
George let out a piercing scream before panting heavily.
I stopped pulling the pencil out.
"Okay," I said, "Do you wanna do this the easy way or my way?"
"Easy, easy," George panted.
"Are you sure? Because I've got a whole lot more pencils, sharpened and everything." I said that with a sly smirk.
He shook his head 'No' in a fast manner and that's when we really got down to business.
****************
"So let me get this straight," I said to George after 3 and a half hours of interrogation, "You were capturing people because the boss told you too, the only problem is that you don't know who the boss is. Also, he told you only to capture certain people. Am I correct."
"Spot on," He agreed, "Thank you for you cooperation Mr. Firm," I said in my business tone, getting up from the chair that I had been stuck in for so long.
After he told me so much information, I decided to take out the pencil as carefully as I could, of course it caused pain, but, hey, I did what I had to do to get the information I needed.
"Before you leave, can I just ask you one question?" George asked, I was tempted to say, 'You just asked me a question,' but I decided against it.
"Sure," I said,
"Why are you so set on not showing people your emotions? Why is your father so determined for you not to show your emotions?"
"I do believe, Mr. Firm, that you just asked me 2 questions. But, to tell you the general answer to your questions, my father told me not to show my emotions because they make you weak, and show people that you care,"
"But what's so wrong about caring?" George asked curiously,
(Get it? Like Curious George 😂)
"That George, is a question for another time."
And with that I exited the interrogation room, heading out to tell everyone the information I have collected.
Authors note:
Sorry guys. This chapter is super duper short, I just couldn't think of anything else important to go in this chapter.
You know the struggle, writers block and all.
But, anyhow I would really appreciate it if you guys could give me at least 5 votes and 20 reads.
I shall not update if I don't get those things.
(Sorry if I'm being a little bit demanding...)
