This is our Family

Everything had changed in a matter of a day, nobody knew how. Only some knew. The thing was that they didn't know if it would even last. They had no idea, no idea if Alice and Frank would go insane again, or if the returners would go missing again. Of course, they had their own problems but is there a way they can actually change everything? 

Harry sat on the couch in the spare room that Sirius and Regulus had put together for him, Ginny, James II, Albus, Lily II, and Nevaeh. James II was sleeping with Albus on their parent's bed while Lily II was with Nevaeh in a crib. Ginny sat down next to Harry.

"Harry?" She asked her husband

Looking at her Harry sighed and smiled "Yeah Gin?" He replied. Ginny didn't respond she just moved her head onto Harry's shoulder and soon fell asleep. That left Harry to think things over. Was it the right idea to have come back from being missing for 9 years? How would this affect things in the future? Had they fixed it on time? All of those things were concerning for six people. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny, and Luna. Harry sat there looking at his sleeping family as he thought of everything that had happened. Soon, Harry fell asleep.

The door to the room opened, waking Harry and Ginny up. "Sorry, did we wake you?" Asked Lily. Before either of them spoke they saw two people, whom they had missed dearly. It was at that moment they both screamed in shock "TONKS?!" Yelled Ginny and at the same time "REMUS?!" Came from Harry's mouth. By that, both of them had gotten up and gave Remus and Tonks hugs. "I swear on Merlin" Ginny muttered, most everyone seemed confused by that remark, but Tonks and Harry just started laughing. Softly Remus peered over to where the children laid sleeping. The words that formed in his head were left unsaid as Ginny realized what he thought. 

"Right," She said quickly "These are me and Harry's children" Ginny finished looking back at Remus and Tonks. Suddenly Harry remembered Teddy and starting to speak but Remus caught him "We know" the words 'we met him' were left unsaid. James and Sirius looked at Remus giving him a confused look. Silence uptook the group as they went to see the sleeping children, smiles were given a single thought came to mind. 

'BANG!' 

James II woke up.

'BANG!'

Albus woke up.

'BANG!'

Lily II woke up.

'BANG!'

Nevaeh stayed asleep. 

'BANG!'

The adults ran downstairs.

Once they had gotten there they were welcomed by a very big family of redheads, the Weasleys, and a bushy brown-haired girl. Ginny ran straight over to Fred once she had seen him and gave him a huge hug. Ron and Hermione made their way over to Harry, at the same time, James and Lily were too. 

"Hey Mate," Ron said. Before Harry could speak Lily spoke up "Sorry, who are you?" She asked in confusion. "Oh Right, Ron, Hermione, these are my parents. Mum, Dad these are my best friends." Harry said. 

"Oh," Said James looking down at the ground. About a million thoughts were running through his mind. Even so, he placed them aside, and soon groups were talking on and on. 

Everyone had already had dinner and so many of them ended up going to bed once it got late. First, the Weasleys headed back to the Burrow and promised that they'd see each other again in the morning. Then, Ron, Hermione, Rose, and Hugo ended up sharing an area to stay in with  Harry and Ginny. They were shortly followed by Harry and Ginny. By then it was only Regulus, Sirius, Tonks, Remus, Lily, and James left. Tonks and Lily departed from the group leaving the four boys to themselves. Not long after Regulus took his leave, leaving only the Marauders left. 

"Wow," Sirius said going over all that had happened in the last two days. Remus looked at him and smiled but something was concerning both of them, James. He had been silent for a while now, staring at the ground. "James?" Asked Remus in concern for his friend. Nothing. 

"James?!" Sirius called for the third time. Suddenly James looked up at him in confustion "Sorry" He said quietly. "What's wrong?" Asked Sirius. James looked back to him and thought for a moment "Nothing" He mumbled. Neither of the two looked convinced and both made their way to sit on either side of James, much to his discomfort with the situation. 

"Prongs," Remus started "We know somethings wrong" He said, there was no response. Sirius sighed and pulled James into a hug. Once the hug had broke James smiled slightly "What would I do without you two" He stated rather than asking, both smirked at the coment from their Best friend. His smile faded as he knew that his friends would pester him to tell them what was bothering him. "Harry" He muttered below his breath. "Harry what?" Sirius asked showing the confustion for both him and Remus.

"Harry, is what's bothing me" James spoke, where was his courage when he needed it? Sirius decided to look straight ahead while Remus took a look at the ground. They already knew why James was bothered. "You can't control what happened" Said Remus after a while. "I know" James said in a quiet voice that indecated that he was thinking a lot about it. Sirius was, at the time looking at a certain spot at the wall. "We were all broken" He said confusing James and Remus. 

"What?" Asked James

"When we met" Sirius started "we were all broken" He finished. James looked a bit annoyed though "What do you mean we were broken?" He asked again. Sighing, Sirius stated calmly "You were lonely, I was pretty much abused, Remus was kept away from people our-his age, and Peter was expected to be great" Finishing you could see that Remus and James both understood now what Sirius had meant. 

"We just had to go into that compartmeant, four broken boys" Remus said. "If we didn't end up meting each other what do you think would've happened?" asked James. Nobody said anything for a while until James yawned a bit and got up to head to his and Lily's room. "I'm glad we met eachother" Sirius said causing James to smile "Don't know what I would've done if I hadn't met you two" He responded heading into the room. Remus and Sirius departed shortly after and a single thought rested in each of the friends mind, something which many people had thought over the last two days 'What's going to happen?'.

Looking over the family, it was quite big. At the Burrow, Fred and George were in their old room wide awake talking to eachother. Arthur and Molly slept in their bed dreaming of all that was to come. Bill, Charlie, and Percy where in Bill's old room thinking about everything that had happened. Switching over to Grimwauld place, Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and their children where in a single room. Ginny was asleep as the three friends talked. Regulus was set in his old room quietly reading a book. James and Lily slept in their set room which was next to where Remus and Tonks were. Tonks was asleep and Remus just sat on the bed thinking. Sirius was in his old room, looking straight up at the ceiling and thinking about everything. The family was big, yes, but much more was to come. They didn't care if this family was odd or poor. They cared about each other, wether related by blood, marriage, or friendship, that was what they cared about. This was their family.
