Time went by so fast. And like I previously said, everything seemed to be clearer now.
Three months after becoming a Nicholson-Valentine, and unexpectedly, it's been only - Perfect. Wonderful. Amazing.
By that I mean, Annika and I are becoming comfortable with each other, and as far as I know, there have been no Eva incidents since Georgia happened - yet.
In a slow but sure manner, we take our sweet time to get to know each other deeper and learn new things from each other.
Thankfully, we made no drastic or major changes. The last thing I wanted to happen was a rushed and forced - love.
During work days, it took us so much effort, but Annika and I managed to squeeze both our time for lunch dates, quick strolls, coffee breaks, and even sometimes spontaneous dates.
But it's these little things that made a huge difference to our married lives.
At first, I was so confused about how to act. I keep on comparing my previous life experiences with the present. Getting easily confused about what was going on as everything wasn't going according to what I knew.

"Next, these are the financial statements of -" In the middle of a meeting with my accountant Kathleen Liang, my phone buzzed and my wife's ringtone started ringing.
I rummage through my purse. "Excuse me for a while, Kate. Let me just silence my phone."
When I finally got hold of my phone, it flashed 1 text message and 1 missed call from my wife.
Kathleen unexpectedly crept dangerously close to my face, making me jolt at the sudden intrusion.
"Well? Aren't you going to call back, Belle? We keep on locking ourselves up with all this office work. All we do is just stare at papers all day long anyway." My best friend beams and playfully nudges my sides.
"Shut up, Liang." I gave Kathleen a playful glare and FaceTimed Annika back.
'Put her on speaker.' - Kathleen mouths. I rolled my eyes in response but complied.
With just two rings my wife answers. "Honey, I know you just left but come home fast." Annika pouts, and gives me come-and-get-me eyes.
I giggled at her antics, "Well hello to you also, Beautiful. I'm just gonna do some quick financial rundowns with Kate. But I'll see you in..."
I travel my eyes to the paperwork we have for the day... and I frown. Damn it! We have so much stuff to do. "I'm sorry Hun, this might take us a while. " I said.
Suddenly I feel a painful sting to my sides, "Owww - " I give her my best 'death glare' as she smirks at me.
And before I could even react, Kate skillfully took my phone, "Hi Valentine, come pick your wifey up in an hour, capisce?"
I mouth her 'thank you' and she replied: "Catch." Tossing the device back at me. "Ahh, careful bitch!" I mumbled, rushing to catch my phone.
I hear my wife giggle and then the phone goes silent for a few seconds before I focus my attention back to the screen, smiling to my wife sweetly. "You heard my boss, Hun. See you in an hour."
"Ha ha, never change Kate! And perfect! I'll see you later, gorgeous." Annika bit her lower lip and shot a devilish wink.
"See you. Drive safely, ok? Bye." I fly my wife a playful kiss before ending the call.
Immediately after the call was dropped, Kathleen threw a crumbled paper toward my end and I instinctively ducked. "Oi getting physical, aren't we?" I spat.
