How exactly, does the way we experience love physically, mentally, and emotionally change over time?

Our story begins with a sacred vow of promising each other to love and cherish, to worship and obey until it shall please the Lord by death to separate us.
But as amazing as it is, the honeymoon stage can't last forever. If we want a love that's going to last, it needs to go beyond the honeymoon.
And when reality sets in...
One is left to question, "Can you sit back and watch me when I accept someone else to stand by my side? Will you watch me call someone else my wife and live the rest of my life with her? They say all things fade with time. So maybe in time, I'll learn to live with these stupid feelings. But time. Time and patience is something I don't really have plenty left."
