I lifted my hand to get a shaded glimpse of the sun, trying to get a more curved and pretty view of the sun as my hands twitched funnily.
"Remi what are you doing?" Sengoku gave me a blank look asking that one question you could ask anyone at any given situation.
My back straightened as I heard his voice and fumbled with my hands hiding it from his view. "Nothing, I wasn't doing anything."
He gave me a nod before he gave another long stare as we stood in silence. "Let's walk home already."
"Mhm." I hummed in agreement. My hands felt itchy all of a sudden as I took quick glances at Sengoku's hands, they looked frail and pretty but was still larger than mine. Determination rose in my eyes as an idea for my next set of actions was established.
"Sengoku, how were your grades this time?" I asked him cutely but his brows furrowed together as he thought about something. "My grades are just the same as usual, how about you Remi? Were you able to raise them a bit?"
'Wrong call.'
I chose the wrong topic, shit. I felt my brain take a close meltdown as sweat started to form on my forehead.
"Ah, I did the same as usual...."
"You're as hopeless as ever aren't you Remi." A smile was on his face as I gave him one back. He let out a sigh before clutching my hand in his. A warm feeling spread to me as we held hands. The walk was short yet heartwarming.
Sengoku stopped right in front of our house and was about to let go of his hold on my hand when I held tightly onto his. He stared at my sideview and I felt holes burning into my face but I too had looked him in the eye.
"Sengoku, let's hold hands next time too." He was left in a daze with what I said and I immediately fled away running into the house, straight to my room.
''I'm looking forward to the next time we walk home.''
