◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

I walked slowly before snapping out of my daze. The man had offered to pay for the meal but I would not back down and make sure that we each take half the payment.

"Miss, Please do make sure that we both get to pay half the meal. Thank you." I gave the lady a small smile before turning to face my current blind date.

"Sir Aoi I'm terribly sorry but I cannot respond to your advances and liking towards me as my attention isn't quite for romance yet. I had a pleasant time today thank you very much." I had my card returned to me before I strode to my car and sat on the passenger seat as I stared blankly at the side window.

Ahhh I messed up. This was a lifetime opportunity, someone liking me romantically that is but then again, a relationship that isn't mutual between partners would not end well. I wouldn't want for him to hope for more either if I gave him a chance only for me to give my held back no.

I think too much don't I.

My phone brightened up as it received a phone call the vibration removed my head from going too far into my thoughts.

"Yeah Remi, mhm I didn't forget about our meet-up I promised I'll be there yeah yeah, I miss you too and take care Remi."

I'll be there since It's not like I have anything better to do.

I drove to my apartment and played with my phone before sleeping.

The morning I woke up wasn't much either, I did the daily thing which was bath, eat and take a toothbrush. I was about to reach and put on some pants before I remembered Remi's words.

The me in front of the mirror looked different from the usual. I wore a green dress and were wearing contacts instead of glasses. My long green hair was not held in a ponytail and was instead just freely left on my shoulders.

No good. I got to the cafe earlier than usual too. No one had got there yet and the table we had reserved was still empty. People had started coming and I was starting to get anxious as I could not see Remi or Sengoku anywhere yet.

A message.

Ah, Sengoku was planning to propose to Remi today. I completely forgot that fact. A smile surfaced on my lips as I thought of the two and had only shrugged off my worries at the moment. People had come to chit-chat with me randomly but it wouldn't last for much long either.

I ran away. No in reality I more of had just walked out the cafe.

Finally.

I had just sat nearby the entrance of the cafe.  The sound of someone sighing could be heard nearby.

Pink hair? The man beside me had a frustrated look on his face. His eyes had locked with mine as I froze on my place at the sudden eye contact.

"Sorry for staring too much." I waved my hands in an utterly pathetic manner.

"Yea." I took a short glance at him again before facing forward.

"A blind date?"
"Yeah-wait."
"I know, been there done that."
I felt his gaze on me as I just feigned ignorance at his actions.

"I never really thought you'd understand."
"Well I do, unfortunately."
"You seem like the person who just get confessed to instead of being forced to go on a blind date."

My mouth gaped at his words.

"Are you talking about me?"

He stopped and looked at me again for a second before giving a nod.

"You have good style, are cool, and  is a nice person."
"What's with that description are you a kid and are you sure you aren't describing yourself."

A sigh escaped my mouth.

"Parents can be pushy."
"Yea."
"Romance doesn't necessarily equate to happiness either."
"Yeah."
"By the way I'm a Tenshi."
"Then I'm a Shinigami."

We both laughed at our obvious lie.

"See you then Shinigami-kun."
"See you too Tenshi-chan."
